Nice to stroll down concourse G again for flights to Narita, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Shanghai…loved it when I came to the gate and saw a 747 waiting, aside from Concorde the 747 upper deck was my favorite ride..haven’t fllown for 3 years now and it looks like the UA food was a little sparse..thx for the ride 🙏🏻👍🏻✌🏻🕊
Amazing trip report. The main course was much better than what I got in my previous experience, but overall the meals still look very unappealing. The only thing I like about UA is their IFE.
Didn't realize the 777-200 had the same ten abreast sardine can slimline seating as their 777-300er. I'll pay extra for economy. For the price even Polaris is lacking. Can't count on a good crew on United. Always great on JAL.
Thanks for sharing. I wonder why economy class food on United intercontinental always looks so awful. Their food product department is clearly not very creative!
No way would I suffer on United for 12 hours!. Must be torture. The worst service in economy. A tiny meal though much better than before and a small sandwich for a 12 hour flight!!! Also 31" legroom though Lufthansa and British also offer this tight legrpoom. I avoid them too.
@ohioguy215 perhaps, but those offerings aren't available in all flights. I've experienced even prem economy being served all carb loaded pasta, no protein or all stupid French toast lathered w sugary jelly.
@@devonsanchez8292 That's very true. Airline food is not the best choice of nutrition anymore. I was flying globally in the 80's...food and service was outstanding. Today you should choose your own food at the airport before before boarding. Most of what they serve on airlines today tastes like sautéed cardboard.
The same type of food even after what we all went through a few years after this flight was recorded? You'd think food quality would go up a notch, but darn.
