Yes just what I need for back to school! I want to elevate my style in the classroom but still have comfort. Definitely willswit h the pumps for a cute flat or sandals
Now this is how you make a capsule video. So innovative, informative, and yet very straight to the point. This palette looks fantastic on you and it's amazing how many workwear looks you were able to create!
You do the work capsule wardrobes better than anyone else! Your looks are always so classic, chic, and simple. Thanks for all the new ideas. Definitely picking up a couple of these pieces to add to my rotation.
This is an excellent video. I have watched hundreds of capsule videos and yours is hands-down the best. I love that you use some unusual colors. The silhouette and style is spot on for me because I’m an attorney and need to be polished at work. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
I always love your work wardrobe videos! They're chic, simple and so classy. Thank you for this....I sure need this because my company got word that we'll be returning to the office for at least 2 days. (Booooooo) I must add, thank you for the code...I've had my eyes on the black tote from your other videos and I'm a healthcare worker, I attempted to get a code for a percentage off, but because it's not a .Gov email used, one wasn't provided.
I was hoping you’d post one of these soon, I have a few meetings coming up in the next month, both in warm weather locations that I have to attend in person, and I REALLY needed inspiration
I'm traveling for work right now. I love a good capsule! Thanks for modeling all of those combinations! I like the black dress as an outer layer a lot. Great editing and synchronized wave at the end. It's appreciated! TFS!
hank you! This seems actually achievable since it's only 12 items. I think most of us will even have a fewof these items already, giving s a head start. Good color choices, too.
Hi Miss Louie this is perfect! Great job. I love your channel and this capsule is so spot on I am tempted to buy every single item that I don’t have yet. I would love if you could also do a version for the road warriors out here! What I mean by this is that the work tote should slide over a luggage handle and evade public transport pick pockets and be able to be shoved under an airport seat. And the shoes should be shock absorbing and waterproof. The clothes should be easy to travel with (the more heavy knits or wrinkle proof the better). I worked in the financial district in downtown Los Angeles for 8 years and the dress code was skirts length had to be the short side of a dollar from end of knee when sitting. Shoes had to be leather soled “boardroom shoes” to avoid squeaking on marble floors. All metals had to match. And nothing too tight or revealing. Even under this extremely strict dress code background I think the white T is perfect. But it should not be worn by someone showing obvious bra rolls in back or by someone with larger chest showing any cleavage at all when leaning down to look at desk. Then for the wrap or any blouse, we were advised to wear a base layer tank to be safe. Also skin colored hosiery socks are always a good idea if the skin shows any discoloration or is not perfectly shaved and moisturized with trousers. And the white skirt or any other bottom should never have visible panty lines. Then the jewelry should be understated and without logos. Same for the bags. So I guess it would be cool if you also did a foundations video and a road warrior video. The bra should be the convertible style that looks good under everything. Please do this!!!
I'm so sorry, I could not NOT comment to this - wow! How did you manage to stick to all that? I think it would be easier in the army - at least you have a uniform there! The rules... man. I mean, I get it, you gotta be presentable and all that, and some of them are common sense (such as clothes not being see-through, skirt not too short and not get bra rolls showing - you get smth larger, I get it, I am quite fat too and I don't like those showing), but some ticked me off - like "skin colored hosiery socks are always a good idea if the skin shows any discoloration" or "the white skirt or any other bottom should never have visible panty lines" excuuuse me? I have vitiligo, I get the heatwaves because of hormonal imbalance, I cannot wear thongs due to sensitive skin (plus, tbh, even doctors say they aren't that great for our intimate parts) and normal panty lines show even on my regular jeans (obviously), so they could've shoved their hosiery and the thongs where the sun don't shine :)) Kudos to you for putting up with that, I admit, I submitted my resignation 3 weeks after getting a job at a certain school (I am a teacher) - one of the reasons for quitting ('cuz there were lots) was having a horrible uniform (it looked horrible, the clothes were of very bad quality, I would constantly get hot in them and they smelled from perspiration whatever you did - yes, I do wear deodorant, yes, I washed the clothes daily because ew). If there is one thing I cannot put up with is idiotic rules - you hire me for the experience I have and for what I can bring to the company, not for what I wear.
yay bc i am tired of dressing like a bum && would love to mix up my style while looking professional bc when u look good u feel good! idc if i just sit at a desk i wanna look goodT lol
You always have the nicest capsules! I work in the legal field and we almost always must wear business professional attire. Do you have any business professional capsules, also?
Thank you for mentioning this! Absolutely this + interview type outfits have been in my thought bubble. Appreciate the feedback so much from you all xoxox
I cannot figure how to wear pumps. They slip off my feet when I walk, smaller size would crimp my toes and exacerbate my bunion; but I love the look. I own several pairs that dont get worn. 😔
