the butter hack is true, but the cost isn't really a good value if you compare the cost of the heavy whipping cream plus the electricity to run the dryer and time involved to wrap everything together to the cost of butter bought in the store, now if you lived on a farm and had access to fresh cream it might make a difference.
When you have toddlers, always always turn the handles of the pot or pan away from the front edge when you're cooking. Too many children have been badly burned by reaching up and pulling the pan off the cook top on to themself. People will say the don't let their children in the kitchen when cooking, but anyone that has had a toddler knows they are like ninjas, turn your back for 2 seconds and the they appear.
This iceberg lettuce trick is an old one. I was doing that shiiii in the late eighties when I started my first job at THE local pizza joint at 14. Works like a charm every time
I've known the lettuce hack since I worked at a restaurant when I was 20. I've also known about the oil on the pots. I knew about the oven door coming off because I do that constantly to clean it. My mom taught me that when I was 6.
Just love it man. You make my day sometimes. I told my wife she could clean the oven now. She happened to say " WHAT NO WAY! I saw the video so I could fu#king clean it my self". 🤣. I said ok after I woke up from my concussion. LOL. Thanks for the videos enjoying the car build. I watch you or Marty and Michael and I can be happy with a good laugh. My first shirt is getting worn out I must buy another.
There are 2 kinds of peaches, free stone peaches and cling peaches, that trick probably only works with free stone. On the butter, just beat the cream into whipped cream and don’t stop, it will start to clump up and separate from the liquid, take out and dry with a cloth.
In the jumping pot scenario, there is a layer of water under the pot that you probably just washed; It will form cavitation bubbles on the bottom of the pot that could shatter a glass cooktop. I replaced mine and it cost $495 (on sale with a discount code)...js
Save yourself time a money. Put the cream in the food processor. It only takes about 5 minutes. Then pour off the liquid, put clean water in, spin it some more and repeat till the water stays clear. Now you don't even need to refrigerate it.
Word of caution when removing an oven door. Those hinges on the bottom, believe it or not, are under much more tension than you think. I almost lost a thumbnail once.
