Good job on watching Shogun, classic Richard Chamberlain. Passionately expressed views on Once Upon A Time in the West, it’s great when a certain shot or moment really hits you
Yes 9 hrs shogun 😲😄 one of my favourites Richard chamberlain 👌🏻, yes once upon a time in the west has some excellent shots camara work by the great Sergio Leone 👌🏻🎥👈🏻 cheers for watching
Another great video Stuart, Every time I watch one of your videos I get so many good recommendations. I have to find soldier blue and I remember renting Shogun at the video store and it was like 20 VHS tapes or something ridiculous like that but I do remember when it was on TV, Remember when networks had Huge miniseries that we must watch, I so miss how tv was structured when we were kids. Take care my friend
Yes shogun 👌🏻 just love Richard chamberlain, yes soldier blue decent Candice Bergen gorgeous and good in it , gruesome ending. Cheers mate thanks for watching
Excellent video Stuart! 😊 I really love “The Crow” as well, but get a tinge of sadness every time I watch because of what happened to Brandon Lee on the set of the movie. 😢 You are right in saying he had massive potential for the future, but this movie is a great legacy to him and showcases his versatile acting ability. I have also ordered the 4K of “Once Upon A Time In The West” and will pay close attention to the scene you mention. 😊 Happy viewing. 👍
The Crow is excellent. Soldier Blue is a strange one - definitely a powerful film but left me feeling a bit depressed lol. Tombstone is so underrated, one of the best casts ever put together - amazing film. Lady in White is one I’ve wanted to see for years. Great pick ups, Stuart.
Great stuff Stuart, I really like everything on the list except Lady in White and Heavyweights, I watched Shogun in 1980 on TV when it premiered and enjoyed it but I haven’t seen it since.👍
I always loved that scene that your talking about in Once upon a time in the west! That set always reminded me of the Cantina in A new hope loll. Great video buddy!
Yes it's not a saloon like a where you take your hires for food and you can buy whisky not water lol great scenes all the way through the film really cheers for watching 👍🏻
Top video Stuart. Wow that's a big gap between viewings for The Crow. I always enjoy rewatching it, it's a 10/10 movie for me. Glad you enjoyed it. I watched Nightcrawler for the first time the other year and I thought it was phenomenal, Gyllenhaal's character in that movie is the ultimate psycho 😄 Yeah Kilmer is Tombstone is on top form, brilliant acting, and a brill movie. Some great movies you've been watching bud 👍
What Leone achieved with once upon a time in the west is incredibly as he shot it to Morricones score which blew my mind as Morricone recorded the score first. Im looking forward to recieving my copy of the Abyss. Bloody typical you and me both imported soldier blue and its coming out here in the uk. I have a fair few of the batman animated movies, very good. Nightcrawler i love. Good watches Stuart.
Once upon a time in the west is a masterpiece , I was happy with transfer yes it's not no top gun maverick but for its age etc it looks nice 👍🏻 cheers for watching mate 👍🏻
Great video Stuart 😀🍿🎸🎶 I need to check out ‘Tombstone’; heard great things about it! It was awesome to revisit ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’; good transfer like you say; fantastic film 🤠 ‘A Simple Plan’ is so underrated; a hidden gem 👌 Hope you have a great weekend mate 😀🍿🎸🎶
@@PaulChiesa-db5zn yes it's not demo worthy or top gun maverick but I do like the look of the transfer everything looks real , not over polished I'm happy with it mate 💿👈🏻👌🏻
Alright Stuart, I started watching The lady in White last year and dozed off. I found it to be too much of a family film I was hoping for something slightly scary. Tombstone-I will get on it. The Abyss is a beautiful 4K imo, loved every minute of it.
I have not seen trailor I tend to stay away from trailors If I can , I have seen pictures of new film I don't like the look of it so far , so probably not mate , probably get the physical copy further down the line cheers for watching 👍🏻
I have Once upon a time on Blu-ray and its a very good Blu-ray, should i upgrade as i have heard mixed things about the 4K. Still need to get True lies, The Abyss and The Crow on 4K, The Crow will probably be my first. My mate is going to send me his German Blu-ray of Soldier blue, never seen it.
I'm a massive fan of once upon a time in the west so of course I'm going to buy it yeah not the greatest transfer but I'm happy with it 👌🏻 cheers for watching 👍🏻
A few there remind me of other films. A simple plan sounds similar to Shallow grave, an early ewan McGregor film. And shogun sounds like the inspiration for tom cruises last samurai. Watched most of the original shogun series and watched all of the remake on Netflix. The remakes good but the main character annoyed me alot. Like a tom hardy ordered of Wish. He has two emotions confused or angry and sometimes weepy, ok 3😂😂😂
