I can say this channel has single handedly swayed me from a big pianist standpoint, to a new guitar player, and a year later playing the guitar better than some friends who have been playing for years.... you need to make a playlist that progresses from beginner level videos to you more complex ones for newcomers. Previously understanding piano on a complex level, you helped bridge the gap seamlessly. just wanna say thanks for all the cool tricks you've shared!

The chord progression captures the tone of the whole song, which is why it sits so well with the monotone part of the melody. Love the final chords. The video helps to put the music theory into the real world of a well known song. Was that Microsoft Sam on vocals standing in for JT?

Love level 12 as it’s so interesting underneath that single note vocal line. Those level 12 transitions are so smooth and even though ‘complex’, seem much more natural compared to the abruptness of level 1. The complexity makes it sound unique too. Thanks for the great lesson!

Your videos are always exceptional, but this is in a league of it’s own with regards to content. I picked up the guitar for the first time since I was around 10 years old, so about 11 years ago. I could only remember smoke on the water and sunshine of your love. I found your channel a couple months after starting and found it so fascinating even though I had no idea what you were talking about most of the time lol. It was definitely your skill, knowledge, and calming attitude and voice. Plus the great sound and video quality. But I made it my goal to go through each of your videos thet intrested me over days, sometimes weeks or months at a time until I could atleast loosely grasp the concepts your teaching. Now two years later and watching this *Just once so far* I can definitely keep up for the first 3 levels but dont understand how you could possibly think to add #5ths on certain chords or where to play 7ths and where not to. I assume its just feel but still it feels so distant. I kinda wish you had more content that caters to beginners but I also find the challenge of learning concepts that seem way to advanced really fun (aslong as my guitar is in my hands lmao)! Keep up the amazing content Paul!
