Bernard hit me the hardest... As an 11 year old kid watching for the first time I always dismissed his character as the stupid king who wouldn't listen but as an adult and now father myself I've come to love him the most. He had every reason to be bitter, angry and resentful towards everyone around him but he rose to every occasion and always did right by not only his own people but others who he could've chose not to. True honor. True loyalty. True love. True leadership. I'll never be able to get through the Two Towers without tearing up to one of his most powerful lines.... "No parent should have to bury their child." RIP Bernard.
Yes Bernard’s delivery is so majestic when leading the charge. He turns into a humble mournful father. Brilliant actor. I read the books as a teen and saw the films out of college in theaters. His “No parent should ever bury their child” hits me so hard now that I’m a married father of 2.
All of these actors, including the ones with very small roles, were so critical in filling out Middle-earth on film. Side question, can anyone explain where Lobelia (0:29) and Old Noakes (1:40) are featured in the trilogy?
Lobelia Sackville-Baggins also is told of in The Return of The King (The Scouring of The Shire), when released after being wrongly imprisoned by Saruman’s followers.
Man , these are some beautiful people and some of theyr roles were of my favourite too. May they find rest in theyr Valinor. And for God sake, i know what are you doing , but stop showing Sean Bean in these kind of videos!!! May he live forever!!!
You can say that for soooo many vids on the internet… but why say it to a video honoring people thst passed by and giving tribute to them and their work?
@@danielnilsson9835 Have you watched LOTR? Do you understand what it is to appreciate art in its many forms and those who contributed to it? I hope someday you acquire that ability, because yours will be a barren life without it.
@@danielnilsson9835 It's not that Danny. I know the LOTR films really well and they are fantastic. I remember the actors in the the films. The point is that no-one is immortal- if they were this planet would be even more overcrowded. Actors enviably die just like everyone else - it's not that much of a shock.
