Having recently lost a bunch of weight and starting now to get more into exercising, I came to the conclusion that I HATE amped up, drill-sergeant style workouts and I’m not going to force myself to do them anymore, ever. I have come to understand that those type of workouts were a surefire way to make me hate exercising and stop altogether. I’m so glad I found your channel. You are so much more low key and encouraging in a friendly, understanding way rather than trying to bully people into getting fit. Thank you so much for what you do. I have renewed hope for sticking with an exercise routine now.

​@Dafydd If this video is doing nothing for you, it is either because a lack consistency or lack of proper form. His videos are amazing! I hope you can find a personal trainer to help you, because the only way his videos won't work is by user error!

First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ru-vid.comUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.

I love how patient, understanding, encouraging, and just straight up kind you are! as a newbie to health and fitness, workout videos sometimes leave me feeling disappointed in myself but this one really does feel like a safe space for me to learn and grow stronger :)

Absolutely, if there was a prize for motivating people to get fit, you would win first prize. I got sick with Covid seven months ago, and when I started exercising again, I could barely hold a 1 lb dumbbell. Now I have worked my way up to 5 lb dumbbells. I'm still motivated, thanks to your videos. THANK YOU!!!

Love this workout, great explanation of AP, the first set is good, being from Uk the second set therapy so in is a bit over the top for my taste. so I move back and repeat the first set. It’s a personal taste thing, but lots of people will love that part. Using it to improve strength and bone density, as an older person.

I do horse riding, it is my passion. Recently I loaned a horse and she is amazing, the only problem is that she is extremely strong. My arms are very weak and it is very hard to controll her. She is a jumper and she loves doing it, every time she sees a jump she goes crazy! this also means that she is even harder to controll. I decided to take matters into my own hands and start working out! thank you so much for making this video, I really hope it helps me and Princess do better :D

I've broken my ankle and my physio advised lifting for upper body strength as before I'm weight bearing my arms and torso will be doing a lot more work. Thanks for a set of exercises I can do with one leg in a cast.
