Tony, the drumsolo is actually longer than that. On the CD, you get the full version. On the vid, it is edited and they jump right over to Spirit of Radio. I don't know why they felt the need to do that.
This was originally released on VHS, where, as with many things in life, time is money. Commercial VHS tapes could be any length you wanted within certain limits, but more length was a higher cost. Disc media is the same price no matter how much of the disc you're using, so it encourages making the content fill up the space.
Yep, it’s between this solo and Der Trommler from the R30 tour. The Counterparts solo was incredible also. except that this version with the drum break is a classic for that reason alone, and this drum solo version is still one of my favorites. OK, they are ALL my favorites...
