And I will be the first to admit that mistakes were made initially under INEOS' ownership, but they Didn't lose their Ligue 1 status, but those mistakes seem to have been rectified now as currently Nice is Second in the Ligue 1 table behind Monaco and ahead of the Qatari owned P$G. Since everyone here sees state ownership as eye candy, look at Malaga, Who after initial success under Qatari ownership, declined After their owner pulled funding in 2014 and are now in the Third Tier of Spanish football with 10 million owed to them by the ruling Qatari royal family the House of Thani who also happen to own P$G who haven't won the Champions League since Qatar took over 12 years ago and have only succeeded in destroying football finances. So INEOS, which is technically also representative of oil money as a Petro chemicals business is a lesser evil if One were to objectively look at the track record of INEOS and Qatar as owners in football especially since the latter have been owning football clubs for far longer than the former

Nice have a very good DoF, an exciting manager, with a lot of young talented players. They are 2nd in Ligue 1.
