How does Santa keep stumbling across these wild rigs? I don't know. Santa is magical or something. Today, Santa stumbled across Bryan and his awesome solid axle swapped 6.0 LS GM 2500HD Short bed with a ZF 6 speed manual, 3 link front connected to a Chevy Kingpin 60, a GM 14-bolt rear, Chevy 205 transfer case, Detroit rear, and ARB front. This thing is, as Bryan put it, "The truck Chevy should have built." Frankly, we agree!

That rear shackle mount is how the 15+ colorados do it now. Chevy got there, just took them forever haha

Lol. There's a reason no manufacturer builds short box 2500's. The wheelbase is too short to tow or haul anything over what a 1500 can handle safely .

Only thing I would have done different is to start with a 2wd 1 ton so you don't have that dropped frame.. but then I guess you'd have to have a dropped crossmember for the transfer case etc which would hang down anyway!! So who knows! Otherwise love it!!

Like I said on the last sweet Chevy S.A.Swap video comments "How it should have been built!" In the first place! That's why my First Gen Tacoma has a solid axle! CAUSE TRUCKS SHOULD HAVE A SOLID AXLE!!! #FKIFS I left my IFS in a dumpster in NJ where it belongs! Awesome video and Awesome truck 🛻
