I had a stray cat when I was a kid. She'd come by the house for 5 years straight until her passing, and I distinctly remember the last time I held her, she did a slow blink at me. She let me cradle her in my arms. I never saw her after that, but if I ever had any doubt of her love for me, I remember that day.
~ Such a beatific recollection, something unique to you in the book of your life. That little feline accepted you, averting her feral state for the sake of creating a very vivid connection with you, you & nobody else in this wide world. Say a prayer for her . . . she probably still remembers you. While romping in golden fields & slinking among the hinterlands of where she resides, she may even be patiently waiting for you even now. Years from now, when awash with white light ~ there may be a wavering tailed, 4 footed friend of younger years there to greet you. Thank you for this remembrance. It had meaning.
I have had cats throughout my life since childhood, but my current lady, a black rescue, has outdone them all. Her IQ alone is sometimes scary and her affectionate "personality" is beyond words. I sometimes think her affection is her way of thanking me for adopting her from the rescue shelter, but many times I have to ask myself, who rescued who? Not everyone is a cat lover, but those of us who do love them are usually rewarded handsomely in return.
I have four rescue cats ……..they are the best part of my life! The love they give…….the loyalty and they are all unique and the most intelligent animal I have ever known. If I was a millionaire……I would rescue more!
@@jaeshasway I rescued Aliyah six years ago and she was semi feral, as well. Some lady had her house foreclosed, so she just left. Once the bank was authorized to enter the house they found over sixty cats inside and roughly a dozen of them were dead. I had her for several weeks before she would come out in the open and a couple of months before she would allow me to pick her up. Now, I'm not allowed to have a chair to myself. She's a spoiled little butt.
So very true...i'm besotted by them. I grew up with dogs, and only got my first cat 17 years ago(i'm 57). They are magic...everthing about is beautiful. No wonder the Ancients worshipped them. My old man is 17 and is still really good. When he goes i will do what the Egyptians did, and shave my eyebrows off, in mourning, with prayers to cat goddess Bastet. Love and peace to all.💜😻☮️
I like cats so much. They're so low maintenance and so easy to please. Though it's kinda hard at first, but when you win their trust, they're best buddies.
@jasonweiss3160 I highly doubt you understand anything about cats at all. I will literally roll around on the ground with my cat girl, rub my head up against her neck as cats greet each other. I sometimes get down under the bed and lay next to her.
Nothing adorable about cats. they are literally Apex predators and a top of the food chain although us retarded humans think we are so speecial and the top of the food chain but we are not and never haver been.
I love it when people say they aren't affectionate. They have no clue to cats. Cats are extremely affectionate. Mine show me all day long, which is good because I love them more than anything, most of the time more than people. Save a cat or two, you'll know love for the rest of your life. They say that animals extend your life, save a 🐈 cat, they'll save you.❤
So true. I have a 7 month old kitten and he is the most affectionate animal I have ever come across. He is like a little black dog. Comes running when you call him. He is waiting at the door when I come home. He snuggles when we watch TV. And he purrs constantly when you pick him up. It’s just adorable. My 7 year old huge black cat ( rescued at 2 years) is affectionate in his own way and on his terms, wry different to the kitten. Love them both to bits
Yep. All The Things On The Checklist My Rescued Cat Does. For A While I Wondered If I Had Raised My Cat Well. He Was An Outdoor In -14° Rescue, And Was Abused (From Neighbor Stories) And Kicked Out Because They Didn't Want To Clean The Litter Box... So The Baby Was Hiding In A Basement, A Friend Lured Him With Food Into A Warm House, Then We Took Him Home. He Was Wild & Angry, Probably Tense & Afraid Because Of The Abuse. So We Trained Him As You Would Any Other Cat, But Because Of His Early Agression, We Did Autism Holds. Gentle Voice, Firm Holding, Gentle Touching After An "Attack". After 4-5 Months He Learned That Attacks Weren't Okay. During This Training Time However, He Wanted Nothing More Than To Be In My Lap, And On My Chest At Night, And Under My Arm During The Day. So We Played Throughout The House To Get His Energy Out In A Positive High Octane Way. Now I Think He Believes We Are His Parents, He Lays On Daddy's Chest Anytime He Wants, And Lays Wrapped Mama On The Couch Whenever He Can. Absolutely The Most Enriching Relationship I've Ever Had. My Husband And I Have Grown Children, And Having Time To Properly Train A Rescued Cat Was The Greatest Gift To All Of Us. Give A Little Bit. 👌💕
I just captured a 9 week or so old Feral Kitten 3 days ago. And watching the bond grow between us is so Heartwarming. She absolutely Loves having her Paws massaged also her Tummy. It is bringing me so much Joy caring for this sweet baby. Even my Chronic Pain is less. They do amazing things for our Health.
You are so right. There have been studies done that found that seniors in particular who are pet owners live longer than those without pets, and those who have a history of heart attack have a 65% reduced risk of mortality. That's why it upsets me so when I see the televised anti-cruelty commercials where they are taking custody of abused and abandoned pets. There should be a program to try to match up those pets with seniors who may benefit from having them.
@@TaDarling1 I agree so much with you. Even the most Feral of all Kitty's can become Sweet. It's not there fault they are Feral and do not understand Love. They just need Patience and Love shown to them. It would be such a win win benefit for the person and the kitty to have each other. They have programs now for Prisoners to get Kitty's. So hopefully they do the same for Elderly Residents. I love hearing stories of Nursing Homes having a Kitty Resident
@@TrishHerron-nv6do They are such amazing creatures. The love we get from them is so special. When you can get a Feral to trust and love you I think it says a lot about you as a person. Congratulations to you and your new kitten 🐾
I have a “cow cat” who is very independent and I have allowed her to be the way she is! She does not “knead” or is not a clingy type. But she WILL talk to me often and will come to me when she wants to have a petting / love session. She is also afraid of thunder/ fireworks/ loud noises , and she makes me feel so loved and trusted because when those noises happen she will come to me for comfort, shaking and she shows me I am loved! She’s very much her own cat and I love that about her!
@@monk3yboy69 A cow cat is a cat that is mostly white but has black spots or patches here and there on their fur, kind of like the same pattern you would see on a black and white cow 😃
I was never a "cat" guy. But I had a black cat on the front step of the house I was building every night I came to check on it. We ended up keeping him. I believe he used to be a house cat and lived with a dog. He was some little girls cat as he would only come to a girls voice and hated guys voices. When we decided to let him in the house, We gave him a bath and I had to hold him in the tub while my wife bathed him. He didn't like it of course and I thought he'd hate me forever. But I took him out of the tub after his bath, and dried him with a towel. He was my best buddy ever since. Talks to me all the time, follows me everywhere. He even wants me to "Hunt' With him as he will try to get me to go with him in the garage and lead me to where he thinks the mouse is. He won't leave me alone and does this for me to help him get the mouse. One morning I came into the garage and he came prancing across the garage, tail straight in the air, with a mouse in his mouth to me. Dropped it at my feet and rolled around all proud. Love him to death now. Named him "Shadow" since he's a black cat and has to be with me ALL the time.
If a “BLACK” cat comes to you, that is a very good thing! They say that if a black cat comes to you, that is good luck! So…good for you! I love black cats! Two have come to me and stayed until it was time for them to go. They decide that too. So now I’m waiting for #3…& I can’t wait! I always seem to have 3 kitties, the 3rd always is a black cat. So once again in my life, I’m at that stage again where I’m ready for my next black cat to come to me. I’ll let you know when it happens. :) ❤
My cat REALLY loves me because all of these she does! She was about 6 weeks old when I adopted her and right from day one, she came in my lap and curled up and fell asleep. I was so pleasantly surprised by that!
I adopted a black female cat a few weeks ago from a local shelter and I'm totally in love with her! She's quiet but she's showing almost all of those affection signs towards me (impossible to be by myself in the bathroom anymore!!!) Lady's name's Misty
My li'l cat Pepper loved me so much that she chose my bed to have her kittens. I was IN THE BED AT THE TIME. She jumped up, meowed and purred and nuzzled me, and then crawled under the covers. She meowed a few more times, an then I felt something wet. I pulled back the covers to find she'd already delivered two. My first instinct was like, 'Ick...' but my lovely girlfriend at the time pointed out that I should actually be flattered. Cats will only deliver their kittens where they feel safest. Despite having several prepared hidey holes ready, Pepper felt the safest place was under the covers, literally NEXT TO ME. It is hard to NOT be humbled by that.
This happened to me on Monday this week. I was a little bit dazed by the whole thing and kept googling cat birthing videos and information throughout😅 She was a stray that i took in and was already pregnant. She had 5 kittens - all are doing well. I can't say the same about my quilt cover, the quilt or my mattress topper. I tried washing them but had to admit defeat and bin the lot. It was worth it.
Haha all of our cats are lovers Love bites Scream for attention Rubbing on you Sleeping on you Licking us Giving up the belly Walking up and reaching for you. Our cats are SO loving and friendly
My 4 year old rescue cat is so sweet, 5 months in and 4-5 days a week, around 5am, she sits on my back or chest when Im sleeping and flops then rubs her head on my face, mini head butts, like she’s saying “Wake up and love me” 😂♥️ She grooms me and falls asleep right next to me or on me lol. What a sweetheart.
I can tell that my cat loves me, he waits at the door for me whenever I have to leave & he sleeps next to me on my bed at night & follows me around the house. He also loves laying on my lap & headbutt me everytime he gets the chance, he is a good cat that is very playful, best 100 dollars I ever spent
My old cat from many years ago, learnt to say "hello" l always thought l was imagining it, until a friend noticed it an was so happily surprised 😂 l loved that cat for 19+ years... and still miss her❤❤ 😢 she's waiting with The Lord, and will be one of the first 'hello's' l get.... 👏😁
My little darling does all of these things lovely things. It melts my heart. I always respond with slow blinks & loving words & gentle love & affection. It's seems to be blissful for both of us.
My first cat obtained as a newborn by me as a kindergartener, was the most amazing female that lived to 24. My next was a male adopted as a baby, at age 1 got that horrible urinary crystal blockage, but once past that lived to 24 as well - even my vet was amazed. My current companion is 16, going strong. I won't say the overlapping years, it would give away my age... lol.
A little trick I learned is to purr at your cat when you pet them. I did with mine and he is more affectionate than ever. By making the purring sound while rubbing his back, he understood that I enjoy petting him as much as he enjoys getting petted. He use to only let me pet him for a minute or two and than jump down. I'm 60 years old and my arms get tired easily. I guess he misread me shifting him to a more comfortable position as me wanting to stop. So, I tried the purring trick and he has been happier than ever. I use to have to pick him up to pet him, now he happily jumps onto my lap. Try it and good luck.
I've taken that a step further. I've got several cats and they all have their own particular "meow." One is Mrow, one is Raaa, one is Owraa, one is Braaaa, one Mrew. I learnt with a canary if you mimic their sounds they'll identify more strongly with them cos it's communication. I talk to my cats like I'd talk to a human but I include their own particular meow noise in there as an extension of their name and yeah they love it when you purr at them sometimes. One of them in particular has a Brip Brip type of chirp inherited from his dad.
@@Demiurge13 - Flutter your tongue like you're rolling an "RRRR" sound, but on a whisper instead of a vocal tone. I have never been able to get my tongue to make that sound, and yet I speak fluent Spanish! Ironic?😁😻😻😻😻😻😻
Our little madam hid in the bathroom for four weeks when we brought her home. Then one day my husband and I were chilling on the bed, and she jumped up, tucked her legs under herself and fell asleep right next to us. We were so excited but we didn't dare move for fear of disturbing her. Now she is a total lap cat and sleeps on my legs every night 😊❤
Every night when i go to bed, my Jacques (a brown tabby) goes to sleep on my chest. It’s like going to bed wearing a fur muffler but i never move him or say no. By morning he’s curled up in a ball to my side in the crook of my arm. Best thing in the world.
My Bruce Wayne Sleeps In Between My Knees, Using One Knee As A Pillow. His Father (My Husband) Is A Toss & Turner. My Son When He Was A Baby Slept In Bed, Since Then I've Been Able To Turn Off My Sleep Movements. Bruce Learned Where Was Safe To Sleep In Bed, And Stays Right There, Or Curled In Front Of My Waist When I Sleep Sideways. We Both Sleep Better When He's In Bed Safe, And He Isn't Nocturnal At All. It's Interesting 😂
Yes you described our honey a Golden Tabby she was abused she couldn't Meow as she was kicked by people we took her home took care of her she let us earn her trust and love
#13. Your cat likes to kick litter out of her litter box. #14. She likes to shred new curtains that your wife just bought. #15. She knocks stuff off of tables in the middle of the night to wake you up out of a sound sleep. Yep. My cat Molly loves me. 🙂
My cats do clean off my nightstand and dresser often and usually at night. I've always considered them helping me clean by getting rid of what they consider clutter. ❤️
I'm quite old and have had many cats in my life, but my latest cat does something I've never seen or experienced before. He will walk by my feet/legs and stop with his rear adjacent and then "bop" this hip sideways into my ankle area repeatedly. It is adorable and he is obviously saying "pay attention to me".
My cat is amazing. She was feral when she was adopted. But now, is so loving it is amazing. She always had to be in my lap. In the morning, but mostly in the evening. She kisses me, sometimes straight, ( all over my lap) sometimes curls up in my lap. I love her so much, and she knows it. This is really strange, when I have a seizure, she stays next to me, then gets on my lap almost the entire day.
Dogs are amazing too just in different ways. I would love to have a big fluffy dog but our lives are more suited for a cat right now. I don't want to get a dog if I can give what it needs.
My cat comes from a difficult household apparently and is very mistrusting, shy and cautious all the time. He is not a natural born cuddler or lap cat (to which I am actually a bit grateful, because I have chronic leg pain), but over time he’s been trusting me more and more and even demands pets or would sleep next to me every now and then. He won’t really go near most other people who come to visit me though. He does the headbutting thing with me however, which feels like a badge of honour. 😊
One of our cats puts teeth to your skin to say 'I have had enough touching in that particular location or way'. She doesn't sink her teeth in, she just communicates with the tools she has at hand. She is a quiet cat; She doesn't talk to humans (though she is social and loving) but when she's by herself and you hear a lengthy discussion, it turns out to be her playing with her stuffed toys. I'm not sure what she's saying, but you can hear it around the house.
I had a cat named Toby. We found him in a box laying in the middle of the road. Ya... somebody pulled that on him! It took him a little while before he opened up to me but once he did.... WOW! He was the only cat I have ever seen that would come from all the way across the yard whenever I would just look at him and snap my fingers. He would watch me all the time waiting for me to give him the slightest bit of attention. I used to go out every night until it was nearly sunrise. I would let him out before I left. And every time I would get home, there he was waiting for me on my front porch. I'd pet him for a little while and he would just snuggle on me and butt heads the whole time. I would let him in and go to bed and he would jump on my stomach and knead my stomach. It lasted so long, I had to start wearing a shirt while I laid there just so he didn't scratch my stomach open. Once Toby fell asleep he would sleeping face to face with me with his front legs tucked under him, purring the entire time until I woke up. Some of the best sleeps you can have is when a cat is purring on you while you sleep! He did prefer me over eating too. He was so chill though. Just laid back and wasn't interested in playing rough. He wasn't a biter, but he would lick me so much I was wondering if I was going to have any skin left! He loved my whole family but for some reason he really chose me. He wouldn't do the same with my family like he did with me. He would jump up on my lap sometimes and if I didn't want him there I would put him back on the floor. He would immediately jump back up on me and look at me like... " Now I know you didn't mean that so I'm gonna sit on your lap now. I would do this a few times and he wouldn't give in. And yes... I lost.... EVERYTIME! WITHOUT FAIL! But I knew he loved me and trusted me more than anything in the world. When he got old, je was stricken with throat cancer, and he could no longer eat. We made the decision it was time to put him down. I didn't want him suffering anymore and it was breaking my heart to see him like this. I couldn't just let him suffer. So we took him to the vet. But instead of just handing him over to a stranger to put him down without me being there, I went in with Toby and held him as they did it. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. But Toby trusted me so much he purred in my arms until hos very last breath. We found him in 1986. The vet said he was about 6 years old when we first found him. Toby passed on September 11 2004 at the age of 24 in my arms, and loving every last minute of his long, happy life knowing and loving each other.... And I still miss him to this day with all my heart! Excuse me... I got to go now... I seem to have something in my eye....
@allencottman5178 Ya... he really was! And thank you! You don't often have cats that are so dedicated to someone to where they wouldn't leave you alone. It's also not that often to have a cat that lives 24 years. He must have been living the happiest of lives, even after someone dumped him in the middle of a road in a box. He may have been abused by his previous owners. So for him to trust anybody as much as he trusted me... I must have done something right for him!
One thing that was not mentioned was your cat following you to the bathroom. Cats do this for 2 reasons: 1) You are never more vulnerable, as a species, than you are when you're mid-poo. They are keeping guard. 2) Your cat needs to make sure you cover up your business. Observe whether your kitty sniffs the loo before leaving. They're just making sure there's no trace of any smell that could alert predators to your 'seat of vulnerability'.
What a neat video!! I LOVE cats!!! So many beautiful signs of love!!! My sweet Frankie was my little shadow. He showed me many of these signs!! He’s been gone for a month now. Miss him terribly but so thankful for the years I did have with him!! 💕💕
@@davelindstrom6005 thanks for your tears!! I forgot to mention KEN!!! Ken is Frankie’s brother!! So we still have Ken!!! He’s more reserved, but still a sweetheart!! Have a happy day!
My Kitten was rescued from a running engine compartment. We had the car owner turn off the engine so we could rescue the kitten. The engine was still hot. She's one of my most loving cats. I remember when she was a scared little kitten. But, with love, she turned out to be lovable.
ALL cats are lovable! Some may be more or less loving (demonstrative of their love for you), but every last one of them is lovable (worthy or deserving of being loved).
After hearing all of this I know my cat loves me. If I am lying in bed and not feeling well, my cat stays with me all day and all night. When I get up he too gets up and follows me where ever I am going.
15/15 for my wee beautiful girl 😻 shes the most affectionate cat I've ever met, I adopted her 4 months ago and considering the state she was found in, I'm surprised how trusting and loving shes been from the start Best thing that's ever happened to me 💚🐈⬛
Another way is that our cat drools when she’s being affectionate, we have a one year old brother and sister, both affectionate but so weird when our female cat kneads and drools! Her tail also puffs up, which I’ve always seen as fear but she is being very affectionate and cuddly when she does this, her brother rolls around and purrs , absolutely adore them both and they know it❤
I used to have a Kitty that would Drool also. Isn't it such a special thing. He would hide in my hair and get me so wet from all his Drooling. Oh how I wish he was still alive. They are truly such special creatures. I just captured a Feral Kitty (about 9 weeks old) 3 days ago. Watching her trust develop more and more each day is so Heartwarming
I just adopted my first kitten ever. I've had him for 3 weeks now, and he does *ALL these things* with me. I love him so much. He just turned 4 months. 😊❤
Years ago, I had a grey white Maine Coon named C.J. that would jump up on my bed while I was reading the Sunday Paper. He would carefully walk up my stomach, and stick his nose under the bottom of the paper, walk up my chest and lay down with his nose just under my chin purring up a storm. After nearly a minute of intense petting, stroking, and hindquarter scratching . The purring would get so loud and the vibrations would make my chest tingle. He would reach up and ever so gently bite and hold onto my chin. Never once hurting for a little more than a minute and his eyes closed. He never did this for my wife or my 3 children who had their own cats. C.J. was mine and I was his. So big , he could standing on his hind legs and look directly out onto the kitchen counter 5 cats and 2 beagles at the same time living in a remote area of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
I always has been a dog person and that is probably because I never had any cat before in my life. Although, i liked them but i felt like i had a preference for dogs. I met my boyfriend who had a cat and been going to his place for a few years . At first, the cat was very shy with me, being unsure but he started trusted me pretty quickly as i love animals and i guess they feel it. Once i moved in with my boyfriend, i created this huge bong with the cat and now he doesnt leave me alone. I work from home and he is on my lap the whole day, or sleeping on the chair beside me. He sleeps with me, he follows me around the house like crazy. i know him so well now, i know all of his meows, when hes hungry, or wants love, or wants me to stop petting him. I fell in love with him, i think i love him more than my bf lol. He is 16 yo now and im trying to enjoy every moment i can with him because i know it can go sour and quick at this age. I can say now that I am a cat person :)
My Cat Is Around Me 24/7, Since I Became Disabled... He Has Slepted Next To Me, For The Past 23 Years... Wherever I Go In The House, He's My Little Shadow...
I have two ragdoll kittens that are now one-year old. Both are affectionate but one in particular has developed a habit of climbing under the bed covers with me every single morning and nuzzling up against my body and falling asleep. It's the cutest thing...she just plops her body down as close to me as she can get and then falls asleep.
From my experience, tail motion is a particular art to interpret. part of it is how much of the tail is involved, part of it is how rapid the motion is (a slow flop vs a flick), and part of it is just the way they lay their tail when it isn't moving. If you pay attention to your cats tail as you interact with then and note their mood as certain motions take place, you can get a pretty good idea of what your cat is trying to tell you without even seeing their face by seeing just a couple of seconds of motion from their tail.
Great video! I’ve been chosen by cat during pandemic - I was so lonely but she came from nowhere and did not want to leave. Novika the Cat changed my life!
In my life I will never forget the time that our family cat gave my mother a gift of a live blue jay. We saw him go darting into the kitchen, the bird still chirping, and dropped it at my mom's feet in the kitchen. Not knowing why he done it, she screamed in fear. I was 10. It was freaking priceless.
Ah, that was why. My cousin had adopted a deaf cat who had survived a car accident. She was very 'agressive' and shy, even to her 'owners'. When I stayed at their place I slept in - the reading-room = HER bedroom. She stared at me fiendishly. I thought, well, I'm a intruder, let's try to blink back slowly. She jumped on my lap and never left me for the whole week whenever I was in the house, and since I was sleeping in HER bed, she slept with me and rolled around my head and rode on my shoulder. All called me a strega, because I had bewitched that cat. - No, I only blinked slowly at a deaf cat who would not hear me making kind noises...
I have a feral cat, she almost never meows, she's not lovable or a lap cat, but she's the best and smartest cat I ever knew, her affection is rubbing my legs when she's hungry
I saw some of these behaviours. Mostly from cats who come my family house and stay there because we give them food. There was a small one who played with our dog and slept in his back. He also jumped to take naps on my leg when i sat in a chair. Female cats are usually more gentle, they also bring mice and leave at the front door. It's truly amazing to see the athletic skills and balance of these magnificient animals and their big exotic phantera family are the most beautiful animals in the world.
Yeah, cats are a whole different animal. You have to appreciate what they are and their individualism which is so different from dogs. The cat that lives with me now ( found her as a kitten, playing in my carport at 3 am! ) is a total pain in my a$$. But she expresses her love for me every day. And I reciprocate. And I love dogs too and have 1 as well. 😻💖🐶
i grew up with a bunch of animals, dogs, horses, cats, rats (yes, rats, they were adorable) birds and little mices, my mother was usually the only one who could get all these signs from one of the cats, it was her princess, she wasn't really showing affection to me or my brother, but on rare occassions she would show a bit of love here and there, sitting on our laps, laying around us sleeping, letting us pet her, giving us those little bites (playful ones) but overall, she was my mother's cat, we did have another one who was my princess, she would do all the things in the video and then some, for some reason, she favored me more then the rest of my family, it was the same behavior my aunties german shepherd showed to me only, tho, that dog saw me when I was an infant and basically protected me until she sadly passed away at the age of 15, she was a good dog, my precious zenta.
Be happy about that. Rarely a live bird is brought into my home, and that is very unpleasant. Luckily it happens rarely, but is my cat's only "downside".
It takes quite a while to understand cats if you've only lived with dogs. I experienced this when I adopted my first cat. I eventually learned she loved me by watching her behavior, her mannerisms, and her body language. She taught me all I needed to know, and I never doubted how much she loved me.
I have a kitten that had to have surgery on his eye cause he is blind in one eye. I named him Jack. He was born with no tail and he is a cutie. Jack loves to take a bath. He is a sweetheart of a kitten. Hope he keeps doing well.
There were actually 17 reasons. There were two #12’s, one of them was a #13 you said the second 12 on. There were also two #15’s. Lol. Thanks for 2 bonus reasons, lol! My cat does all of this… I already knew he loved me before watching this, but I just like seeing what they say. It’s just me and my 3 year old boy, Money. I lost my girl Lucy on September 4th, 2022 due to kidney failure 😞 😭. I had her for 18 years. Adopted her at 9 months and she passed at 18 😢. She was a very petite Tuxedo cat named Lucy. I have her ashes with me as I type this. I’m just glad Money got to spend his first two years of life with her before she passed, as someone found Money on the street at 5 weeks old. He’s a long haired black cat with the most beautiful green eyes. I love my cats like they’re my children, since I don’t have any children myself and I’m 36. Thanks for posting this video anyway! ♥️
Some cats are really into the love bites. My cousin had an outdoor cat that used to climb up on my shoulders and give me little bites on my nose. Always very gentle and purring the whole time. He usually would give me slow blinks at the same time. No one else ever showed him any love except me. I still regret not being able to adopt him, but at the time we couldn't have pets at our apartment.
My cats all gave "nose kisses". But the little feral kitten that showed up here a few weeks ago actually takes her little paw to move my face so we can nose bump. She's learning not to bite or claw when we play. She's still very shy around other people but is Boss Kitty when we"re home alone or she's provoking the two 16 y.o. toms i have. I think cats who were feral kittens make the best pets. They are very smart, agile and loyal to their human families.
My late cat Rombo did this when he heard Tina Turner for the first time singing the rolling on the river in proud Mary and I was doing morning aerobics. I had already taught him to roll over. So I am dancing one morning and he's rolling over every time Tina says Rolling! I miss that cat.
_"A cat's meow is their closest approximation of communicating in a way that humans can understand"_ Actual cat: _"Oh long Johnson. Ohhhhhh long Johnson"._
A Cricket landed on my neck and I swatted it off and my friend came over so I brought her inside. After my friend left 5 hours later she dropped a still half alive cricket on my bed. She kept it in her Mouth for 5 hours to give it to me
I tested the "Hello" voice on a cat during a walk a number of years ago. To my utter and complete shock, the cat responded with a "Hello" of its own. I was flabbergasted!!! So, it is really true, if a cat does like you, it will verbalize a very basic response to you such as "Hello".
