Nice tips... cool thats why i like the NOTE series. Btw you can translate not only a word but also a paragraph by click left side of floating translate menu. There's Word/Paragrapgh option. That really handy in use :-)
Thanks for the great videos on the note 9. Didn't realize it could do half the stuff you showed. Didn't use the s pen once, thought it was a gimmick, but now I see it's actually rather useful
I am a leftie and I have no issues with the pen (just taking it in and out is irritating). I move the air command icon to the left side of the screen so it's easy to access.
I never thought about that and my mom has had every Note and never mentioned it. I imagine pulling it out takes some getting used to. But she uses hers a lot.
I know that but it could be used for something else since it's there already. Like start timer. It doesn't do it now but seems like a waste since it's there

The button on the top is for locking the pen in and getting it out. When it's in the phone you mash it to make it pop out giving you something for your finger nail to grab. You can also use it to fidget like with a retractable or clicky ink pen.
The next thing to be added to the S pen will be a microphone. Now you can take pics pressing the button when the s pen is out, imagine giving it commands and walking around the office, house, wherever and it takes copies your voice and types in memo. Plus speak into pen for pics and command take video. That's where it needs to go next.
thanks for the video I just received my replacement s pen from Samsung and unfortunately it is not being recognized it keeps telling me to insert but it is inserted I've checked the settings and even brought it to an AT&t authorized dealer they couldn't figure it out, any suggestions?
try the pen in someone else's phone and see if that pairs. If it doesnt, then the pen is faulty. If it does then it might be worth doing a backup and then a factory reset and starting again.
Yesterday unfortunately my s pen was stolen @ my Doctors office by one of her two assistants 😡 When I walked 3 feet away from the room I was using it in while waiting for the Dr my phone rang out to let me know I was walking away without it..the two assistants were in there but not my pen supposedly. Question: Will the AWINNER Pen for Galaxy Note9, Stylus Touch S Pen (Without Bluetooth Control) available @ Amazon Work? I never used my bluetooth feature and my pen worked fine Would you recommend this pen?
Back on previous notes there was an option while in a note you could "pin" the note to your home screen. It was like a sticky note for your screen. I found that very helpful is there still a way to do that in samsung notes?
The bluetooth functions are for the push button on the side only. The hovering and touching on the screen have nothing to do with bluetooth. That's all part of the sensors built into the screen and the magnetic tip of the S-pen.

Hi Liron, I have a question. When you showed the target language in the translate part I see more languages than what I have? Is there a particular reason for this? Hi I need your help you know when you remove the S Pen out and on the top left corner you have to pencil and the eraser but I don't see the little thumbtack where I can write and save it so I can stay on my home screen it's only showing me the S Pen and the Eraser but not the Thumbtack on the top left corner why is that

Just had my 1 month old S pen break in half. Any idea if it can be fixed or if another S pen from an older model will work. I don't have the extra $50 to purchase a new one for my S9 Notebook???
What I WOULD LOVE: When ON screen and while I hold my s pen: Press BIXBY KEY so that it engages SCREEN OFF MEMO, so the screen turns off and I take a note on black screen.... As if I had just taken out the s pen I mean I would love to use the screen off memo feature without having to put the s pen inside the slot and turn off the screen IS THIS POSSIBLE??
I do a lot of surveys so if I take a picture and draw arrows & dimensions on it am I able to tidy it up like you did with writing with the pen but it converted it to text ?
@@LironSegev I am getting my note 9 tomorrow but I used to have a note 3 and the problem was from trying to draw an arrow from one side of the screen to the other it would all be wobbly and look really unproffesional so I am hoping this has a way to solve that, Thank you for your reply :)
@@LironSegev it is possible by downloading the S Note app and then the app extension it the allows you to make perfectly straight lines,Circles,squares etc

Thanks for watching! To answer you questions : 1. Not too big but I don't keep it in my back jeans pocket. 2. Didn't try write in another language with the pen so can't tell for sure. Pop into a shop that sells it and try it (also let us know!) 3. Battery is great. Depends on how much you use it but easily I got a full day on heavy usage. Hope you like the other Note9 videos also!
Samsung should add to the galaxy phones vibration on ringtone just like apple vibration that matches the ringtone to make it even more smooth if anyone know what I'm talking hopefully they would it , please Samsung do it .
Thank you this has been a very helpful video. I learned so very much. One thing isn’t right though, when I tried to color I’m not getting a perfect contact liek you are. It’s like my pen is off. It was coloring above where I was setting my pen on the drawing to color. Is that fixable or am I just holding my pen wrong? Thank you for the great video!! Loved & Subbed!

My note 9 went back so I can't try it but also try resetting it: Settings-> Advanced Features-> S-pen-> S-pen Remote: select the settings for this "app" (three dots in upper right corner, and choose "reset S-pen
Liron Segev I tried to reset the pen and it’s still not working right. I’m going to try to google the problem and see if maybe I can find a solution. My mom has the exact same phone and her pen works great. I showed her all your tricks and she has been coloring all day. Lol!! Thank you so much for the advice
When my phone is off and I remove the S Pen out I don't see the little Thumbtack on the top left corner I only see the S Pen sign in the Eraser but I don't see the little Thumbtack that should be there and I want to know why it isn't appearing on my screen so I can write a memo pen it so I can be on my home screen
Yeah you are right it's the locking and unlocking mechanism. I was wondering when it's out could they make that button do something like next song or next slide kinda thing
It doesn't lock the pen in. The pen is held in by friction. The purpose of it clicking in is so it sits in flush with the rest of the phone when you don't need to pull it out. I generally leave mine unclicked so I can pull it out quickly.
