I have a young man who lives with me who was in and out of foster care since age 4. He was moved in the middle of the night, never staying in the same place for more than a couple of months. Every time they came and moved him he would not be allowed to take his possessions. One toy. That is it. He went to 23 different schools. What riles me is that the foster parents in this state get up to $800.00 per kid per month plus meal stipends and an allowance for the child if over 8. The kids never see any of it and the foster parents do not do squat for them at Christmas and their birthdays. Its a growth industry and the kids are the chattel. This Boy Scout IS the embodiment of the Scout oath. Great job kid.

I hope that when hes of age to start working for his own future he's paid back for all of the good he's put into the world leading up to it he deserves it
