12-Year-Old in Stolen SUV Chased by Deputies in New Mexico: Cops

A 12-year-old boy led sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase in a stolen car before crashing into another vehicle. The Doña Ana County sheriff in New Mexico says her office received reports from people who saw the child behind the wheel driving erratically on the highway. When deputies found the car, they say the child did not pull over and continued to speed away. It ended when cops say the child crashed into another vehicle. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

When I was 12 my dad allowed me to drive his car with him in an empty parking lot only with his supervision just to prepare myself for my driving test years before I got my license needless to say it helped me a lot. He even showed me gruesome pictures of dead people in car crashes as a warning. Needless to say I'm so thankful of him

I'm terrified to see what kind of trash these children become. Probably the same as the parents. I would have never done stuff like this. Not out of fear of the law but out of fear of my mother. But we do live in the "don't tell your child no", "everyone gets a trophy" & "everyone is a victim (especially when commiting criminal acts)" era.

I was afraid of my mother as well that's why I never got into trouble! I promise she had the wraith of God in her. She wasn't mean or horrible just that she wanted us to do right and become good people in the eyes of God and her. She raised us right and I love her for that.
