Isn't it... interesting that top comments are more concerned with commenting about the woman's age being wrong than commenting on how wrong their actions were or that their 12 y/o only weighed 50 lbs
@@katherinemitchell3142come on do you really think these people don’t care. Just an observation and how much they lie and are deceitful…..don’t judge the comments. Judge the abusers
Why are children who are pulled out of school not properly checked on?? This happens in almost all of these type of cases. Why aren't we doing more to protect our youth??
This country mindlessly respects the privacy of families, even though it has led to countless cases of children dying and/or enduring horrific trauma with no proper government involvement. The over-stand of independence granted to parents and lack of regulation to ensure child safety has cost so many innocent lives. There are no current U.S. agencies that successfully protect children against abuse and neglect, although there are cases of children being taken away from mentally fit parents due to financial struggle. There are not enough social workers to perform mandatory welfare checks, yet everyday there seems to be a new case that is closed after a child is not deemed in danger. There are no home visits because we must respect the privacy of one’s property & familial unit, which obviously lies within their rights, yet so many people take advantage of this. It hurts my heart to know that we currently have nothing in effect to genuinely protect kids.
Those people that starve kids get to go to jail and eat three meals a day. And they have activist fighting for their rights. how about the rights of the kids that are abused and killed?
I was homeschooled and enrolled myself in public school just to make sure I ate every day. I was thinking about this recently and realized that my mom was always obese and us kids were always skin and bones. I’m wondering if she had food hidden in the house because our cupboards were almost always bare.
No, she is actually 25 years old, but she's just lived a very rough life due to narcotics and hatefulness. So she looks like she's my age, but she's not. ~Dutch
✨Not 25yrs old because this woman served prison time for being involved in the murder of a toddler over a decade ago (only served 3yrs)!!! Absolutely HORRIFIC LEGISLATION to ALLOW THIS WOMAN to have ACCESS to CHILDREN again!!!⚖️⚖️⚖️
They made the kid do squats? Those two look like they've never done 1 single squat in their life. I'm shocked two people that look like that even know what squats are.
Reminds me of those two obese parents who starved their baby Mary. The dad didn’t trust the government or doctors. He told the cops there was no chance the baby was alive when they checked on her, he said she was “dead as a doornail” and then was absolutely shocked when they were both sentenced to life without parole.
Who is going to stop her? Convicted felons can’t be watched 24/7/365 by a babysitter. Let’s pretend that there was intensive supervision for people who are released from prison… Who’s going to sign up for a job like that? They’ll argue, Who’s going to pay for that? We’re already broke from wasteful spending and sending trillions to other countries like Ukraine No money to protect our children and borders but plenty for wars in other countries.
You have to prove intent, they are probably still sorting through evidence to charge murder. Not because they don’t want to, they just have to make sure it’s a strong case.
This happened right around the corner from me. I think the school district/CPS dropped the ball. They suspected child abuse and reported it. Subsequently, they pulled her out of school and began cyber school. They should've kept pursuing this case of child abuse. So sad.
The district did what it was supposed to do, which is report abuse. CPS should have continued to follow up on this case, but it’s possible that they closed the case if nothing was found at the time.
I live a mile or two away and I am so sad for Melinda and what she endured. I have been wondering why Chester County Child and Youth Services did not do their job … we need the reporters to question county officials . Just horrible
Yep! For that part, the first public school should ha e pursued action more of concerns all of a sudden she's been pulled out of school. None of these cases are fair enough because it needs to step up the ladder for complete changes to become justified. If you understand what I mean, I hope.
Pulling her out of school should have been a huge red flag for CPS and they should have known about the stepmother's previous involvement in the death of a child from abuse.
Notice how the child in these cases always looks like the sweetest little kid and the parents/caregivers look like foul, disgusting creeps? Damn this horrific, sadistic couple.
I lived with someone I was highly uncomfortable with when I was young and I was a walking nervous wreck for months until he left. I can't imagine what it must have been like for this girl to wake up every day for this long a period dreading what she is going to have to face and how to best to behave. You just want to go back in time and save her. So sad.
More like demons are indwelling them. And yes, they will answer for this. In this world, and in a world we cannot see. Ephesians 6:12 [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I mean, the homicide rate from the USA is 8 times higher than in my country soo it might happen everywhere but soo many; that’s ya’ll and the other third world counties and ya’ll should definitely do something about it… 😂
@@SlimStefani Because the United States doesn’t put a priority on the health and wellbeing of its most vulnerable citizens. There is basically no social safety net, what there is is underfunded. Our priorities are totally out of whack, we’d rather give huge corporations tax breaks and ensure that the rich get richer.
I'm here still struggling for the passing of my newborn a year ago, and there you are, killing your own child. Sometimes, I feel like life is not fair 😢 May justice be served!
Why are these stories of child abuse and murder so common in America? Is it a lack of mental health care, lack of education, or a lack of child welfare support? Something is lacking, and innocent children are paying the price 😢
This is the same story over and over. Starved, shackled, kept at home, abused, made to do ridiculous exercise, and verbal abuse. We need a new CPS system in the US.
Yo their mugshots compared to that picture is crazy. That must be a magic filter 🪄 also I think if a child is pulled out of school there should be mandatory check ins or something because in so many of these cases the parents start “homeschooling” and a few months the child is dead
If that's true this reminds me of a French Canadian couple back in the 1900s who murdered a little girl by the name of Aurore Gagnon, one of Quebec's best-known victims of child abuse.
I’ve seen this more times than I’d like as an ER physician. I always follow up with a phone call, and if no information within 48 hours, I will send a wellness check to see the child physically. Unfortunately, I’ve seen many kids back, but in the morgue. We have got to address this in our country.
yeah & you also treat people like me who have REAL pain from REAL medical issues like addicts & judge us before you even know our situations. thank you for further contributing to our already on-going sufferings. sincerely, severe chronically ill & chronic pain patients.
I weighed 58 lbs in 6th grade. I was very picky and wouldn’t eat what my family did. This poor baby! If only she could have alerted someone online somehow 🥺😭 I hope these monsters never see freedom again!
I am sorry you were neglected. I realized that going hungry at dinner time isn't normal in most families. For example, give the kid a peanut butter sandwich, or make something they will eat! I was picky and skinny but at 12 I was 104 libs, in 7th grade.
There are to many horrible things happening to kids, there are to many individuals that are not even human and shouldn’t have access to innocent babies.
@DonnellOkafor-pd7yn He is in no way underweight or too skinny, but he's a slim kid, especially despite eating exactly how most people describe how growing boys will "eat you out of house and home"lol. But He's very tall for his age and height makes a difference. He's 48.5 inches tall and the average 5 yr old boy is 42.5-44.5 inches. Calling him slim, I wasn't implying that he unhealthy, if that was the case I'm sure his Dr would agree that I'd want to give him pediasure or something similar to help him. He is still at a healthy weight for a child his age and height, but is in the low end of only being in the 9th percentile for weight. Regardless, my point was that it's terrible that this poor kid was 12 yo and only weighed 3 more pounds then my 5 yr old, that's heartbreaking.
This is her second abuse years ago she killed a toddler and only served3 years what kind of judges leave his women free ! Now it’s two children wasn’t didn’t her child .
Seriously, what in the world is going on. Everyday i see a new child being murdered by the hands of a parent or parents. Literally everyday lately. Breaks my heart knowing there are so so many children being abused and or murdered.
Poor girl, she never stood a chance when it’s at the hands of people that should be protecting her from others. Another case where the parents are home schooling to prevent the abuse from being seen. Its not uncommon and really think there needs to be a process put in place where home schooled kids are routinely checked up om, but of course its never going to happen when child welfare is already massively under funded and can’t adequately manage what they already have. How do govts have trillions to spend on weapons, but can’t find just a fraction of that to help those who are often the most vulnerable in society. Its the same case here in the UK.
In a lot of these cases, the ones that look like they should miss a few meals are the one starving kids. 50 lbs at 12? They both look evil. Shackled in a basement? I bet if they had pets, the pets were treated better than the child.
My blood is boiling This sweet girls story aligns with my childhood to a t with being locked to a table starved and abused The state helped only after my brother cut his wrists with the handcuffs It took them 15 years to help us and multiple reports across many agency’s that went un investigated Meaning the media was hungry and took it they labeled our case the worst they had seen in our area And THEN THE DA claimed our father was an over the road truck driver who didn’t know the extent of the abuse that was happening!!!!!!!!! Years later and I’ll never ever feel that he got was he deserved neither him nor his girlfriend I hate that there are people out here in this world
CHILD ABUSERS SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO HOMESCHOOL, AND KIDS THAT ARE HOMESCHOOLED NEED TO BE CHECKED ON. The HSLDA disagrees with this and ACTIVELY OPPOSES legislation designed to protect children from these abusers under the guise of homeschool and religious rights. It’s disgusting and shameful.
That picture of Malinda holding up what appears to be a gift of sweatpants is heartbreaking. The look on her face is exactly the same as victims in cartel execution videos. Utter hopelessness....
Reference for anyone curious as to how underweight she was, I was 80 pounds at age 12 and my doctors were urging me to gain weight. This breaks my heart.
If a child is pulled out of school or is homeschooled, there needs to be another layer of protection for them! They should be checked on. It won’t prevent everything but I think it could cut down on things happening to children to THIS degree-being shackled and wasted down to 12lbs…
Absolutely correct!! A lot of parents don’t send their kids to school preferring to keep them at home where it’s safer from the violence we see but a lot of them do it because they can’t let them be seen without taking the chance of someone knowing everything they’re doing behind closed doors!! We have to change this and add something to protect them against monsters like this!!
Even if they don't check on every child that's switched to homeschooling, they at the very, very least, should be on a high risk list if they're only pulled out of public schooling AFTER reports to CPS of suspected harm/neglect. The kids need to be much more closely monitored by CPS if people with a history of child welfare reports turn to homeschooling. Not to mention, since this case specifically has that woman in the house with a prior CA conviction in her criminal history?? That should have been giant red flag number three!!
Reminds me to the case of Timothy Ferguson. This is so wrong, also the timeline makes me think these people get ideas from other abusers, why the same avuse is repetsted over and over?
