You should come to the states on holiday. Specifically Kentucky and tour some of the amazing distilleries we have here. You would have a blast. Cheers mate!
One thing I do is i will smell and taste as normal but i also let the whisky sit for about 10 min and you will get a completely different experience try that and you will see what I meen
I ushally do when i drink it for enjoyment, but on camera i ushally just record it in one sitting, i can probably do this better when i have a bottle of it though =D
A couple friends and I put down a bottle of Tullamore dew 12 year the SB party started last night. Im not a whisky guy I’m a gin guy. But it was rather enjoyable. Well I’m gonna try and track down the Belvenie 12 year double wood tonight. Never tried it so I’m locked in to try it!
I’m definitely highlands drinker myself. The road to scotch started with reading Robert Heinlein novel as a kid. I didn’t know what Glenlivet was when I read where his characters would drink it. One day, years later, I was asked by a bunch of Indian fellows I worked with “Hey Buddy, I’d you have a punch tool, why not join us this weekend installing phone wire in a new office building?” I went and punched down wires and at the end of daylight, we were on the upper floor (no power generally in the building yet) sitting in circle passing around a bottle. When the bottle came to me it was 12 year old Glenlivet. I was enthralled to finally know what Heinlein was referring to - and how amazing the drink was. I described it as angel tears when telling the story. Keep up the channel(s). You’re a very good fellow.
