I am a 68 year old grandma of two darling( of course!) grandchildren, a wife of 45 years, in a wheelchair.. lots has changed in the last few years for me, I must say. Hello. I recently came across your channel. I have to say, I throughly enjoyed it. I lost my grandma in 2002. I was 22 years old. Now 43, I still miss her 24/7. Which is natural. So when I came across your channel. For some reason it instantly calmed me. I enjoy just hearing and watching you. And I will continue to. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I just recently discovered your channel and subscribed maybe 4 or 5 days ago, and I can’t express how thankful I am that I did. I know you probably hear this a lot, but I just recently lost my Grandmother in November, the last grandparent that I had, and I have been struggling. Finding your channel has been such a blessing, because you remind me so much of my both of my Grandmother’s. Watching your videos has helped fill that void that I’ve been missing, and has helped me in my healing. Asides that, you enjoy and like collecting things that I do, so I love learning things from you, learning new recipes, and hearing your stories. Again, thank you for being such a blessing to me, and I cannot wait to see what else you do.
That was so much fun watching you cook the Chicken Stir Fry!! I felt like I was sitting on a stool in your cute kitchen and just waiting for a delicious bowl of stir fry. Hi Granny Pat - I just found your channel, I think I'm really going to like it. I too like chicken stir-fry because you can throw everything but the kitchen sink in there. It's a great way to use up all those left-over veggies and that half an onion that always seems to be lurking in my fridge. I never thought of adding cabbage to it or serving it over rice-a-roni though. I'll have to try that, it would be a great way to stretch it for company. Looking forward to more Granny Pat videos!

Hey, I couldn’t do what I do if it weren’t for viewers like you, constantly encouraging me. I’m learning as I go, definitely an amateur. My sister is drawn to so many comments about me as a grandmother. She said she got to thinking about that and remembering what it was like, never having a grandmother. They are learning what it might be like, filling that void. I need to learn how to pause my video and come back with the needed material. I also want to learn how to put print on my screen. Where did you learn these little extras? I got smart once and decided to become an entrepreneur (craft supply shop) and fell on my butt. That’s all in the past, to be forgotten!

Jadeite is very expensive. Watch for it in yard sales and estate sales. You have to be very careful about washing Jadeite in water too hot or too cold. Always use lukewarm water.

I so enjoy watching you cook. You remind me of my momma who passed away six years ago. She was a phenomenal cook and I have the figure to prove it hahaha. She lived in Germany and Hawaii when her first husband was in the military, so I loved hearing her stories. You are fun and relaxing to watch and I so enjoy your stories, Granny Pat. I love seeing you out on your adventures with your daughter and friends also. My mom and I did several mother daughter trips and outings and we always had so much fun! I did the Grands Biscuits but cut in 4 pieces and dropped them in the broth. Oh my, they were fluffy, almost too big, but we prefer biscuit dumplings over the strip/dough ones. To make a meal, I love frozen peas and carrots dumped in before the dumplings, back to full boil and dumplings cook. Yum. You are so sweet. You remind me of my grandmother.
