The VENLAB VM-600A is a typical budget multimeter. It performs well enough for electronic bench work but is let down by its very basic input protection and fuses. One of the strange quicks of this meter is that its low battery warning comes on way too early. VENLAB's reason for that is explained in the video but I think they should change the threshold to a much lower value, otherwise you will either throw away perfectly good batteries or ignore low battery indicator and occasionally check the state of the batteries through other means.
