I must admit it hurt staring at your bishop/rook fork while you didn't mention it, and it hurt more when I saw them take (I think they could've forked without wasting the rook possibly?) -- good win in the end though! I heard somewhere that some old GM used to say "the reason why some players do better than others is simply a matter of who gets their knights active earlier" which seems to be true much of the time.
Usually you don’t want to open the center in the king’s Indian, it’s better to close the center with e5 and go for Ne8 and f5 to create a huge kingside attack, (it’s ok to push pawns in front of the king if the center is closed
