Sure enjoyed watching you two tag team on them roads. Sure makes it easier and you both agree to work together so well. Nice to see friends work together and helping a neighbor. Now for the younger generation to step up and pitch in and help as they are needed like you folks have. Thanks for sharing.

Hey good evening ODD. Yes, sure makes work seem more like play when you get to hang out with buddies to get the job done. That neighbour's driveway is as long as mine and kind of crosses two roads. Weird setup but sure makes quick work of it when there are two of us. Plus Guy's wife always makes us coffee when we get back ( with a little bit of a kick in it. LOL). Cheers and have a great weekend!

Hey good morning Jackson. Yup, love catching them here and there. Not so much the wolves though. Got back to the cabin last night and about 5 minutes later had a couple of wolves out front tracking something. Very seldom see them this close to the cabin - usually more coyotes. Little worried about that. Harsh cold and I am sure they must be getting hungry to come this close. I'll be keeping my hatchet close while out for the next while. Cheers!

I curious to know why does Guy's snow blower chute deflector allow so much snow to stream out the back side? I have post notifications on for your videos! I am in the market for a tractor but not sure what size or brand. They all have pro's and con's. The bigger the tractor the harder it is to get in the woods but also obviously more powerful but also cost more. I'm just worried if I get a smaller tractor it won't be capable enough but thanks to your videos you are beginning to change my mind. Can you mention in a video sometime what other tractors you looked at? Thanks
@GPOutdoors
@GPOutdoors 5 лет назад
Hey good evening Palmer. I know it's tough to decide, especially if you don't have previous experience like myself. I am no expert for sure but I actually planned on buying an L series. After spending time with each dealer and explaining the size of property, the terrain and type of property, the things I expected to be doing with the tractor etc, the dealer recommended I go smaller. I would say if you are not sure, then go bigger. Remember, you will have the tractor for 15-20 years or more. But ask each of the dealers for their opinions and go with their recommendations. I looked at Massey, Kubota and Deere. And I went with the best dealer experience. Second generation tractor dealer and knew his stuff really well. I wish I could help more but hopefully that helps a bit. Good luck and my only advice is if you are not sure, go wth whichever dealer you trust the most and their recommendation for your needs. Generally, they all agreed that if you have more than 8-10 acres, then you need an L series at least. I have a very small property here. Let me know how it turns out! And good luck!
@palmerboudreau7262
@palmerboudreau7262 5 лет назад
@@GPOutdoors It looks like regardless of what size I should get it with the 3rd function and a grapple! I agree with getting a larger one now that you mention it. A big part of the tractors use will be pushing back snowplow banks and I think it will be good to have size and weight on my side for that task! Thanks GP!

GP Outdoors, well, I was only warm for about 15 minutes! Then the PTO Shaft blew apart!!! Well, it broke off and flew into the snow!! Thankfully didn’t hit anyone or anything. So much for my first ever Kubota!! Completely assembled at the dealer and has 12 hours of use! I don’t think I can ever trust their tractors again. Interesting to see what goes on tomorrow when I go see them. Right now I’m exhausted and soaked from shovelling 15 cm of heavy snow in the now pouring down rain! I am fit to be tied. That thing cost me $23,000 and I bought it because my Sears lawn tractor wasn’t reliable enough. Ha.

Hey Michael. We have a lot of deer in the area among other animals. But they come every day at Guy's feeder. Have a great weekend and thanks!

@@GPOutdoors yeah I got 3 tractor, but really only use 2 of them. 2003 Cub cadet 7305 1998 Kubota B2150 and a 1957 Massey Ferguson F40. Only time the Massy plays is in snow since it can push what ever with tire chains and duel wheel weights. I got doubles of a few implements too..lol

Sell that back blade,and get a box blade that's a little wider than your tractor.youll never know how you got along with out it!

Good morning Dale. Many subscribers have said the same thing. I just don't get it though. Where does the snow go when you are pulling it along behind me? With the blade, the snow gets channeled off to the side but with a box blade, when I pull it, doesn't the snow just pile up in it? If you have time, maybe you can describe kind of what happens. I am happy to try it but perhaps if you can tell me how to set it up or use it, then when I try it, I will have an idea of what to do or what to expect. Thanks very much!

It's a race, I have to give it to the orange one, slightly faster than the orange one.
