the Bastard Chopper is the most appropriate weapon name for this series considering how several of the scummy characters are portrayed who do not deserve to breathe air.........
A 1/100 Astaroth Rinascimento and Astaroth Origin would've been Amazing as hell! I'd buy them immediately. Sadly the FM 1/100 line has ended. If there's a chance that those models get a 1/100 scale it would either be a Master Grade or a P-Bandai kit. Hopefully it happens.
Yeah, I'd say so. although if you go ahead and attach all weapons it ever used to the first Astaroth (anti-materiel rifle, Gusion Axe, Rodi Chopper from HGIBA 3, 2 Panzerfausts over shoulder, plus everything in the kit), you end up with a pretty intense looking version as well :P
I wish there were more kits with the angled hand for holding melee weapons- I think any sword-user should have one for thrusting attack poses! A question: are IBO hand covers universal? For example, could I use the Astaroth's angled Gundam frame hand with a Graze hand cover?
the hands are not all universal, but many of them are. If they don't fit, all you'd have to do is a tiny bit of cutting. And yes, Bandai needs to accept the fact that they need to provide more hand options in their kits in general.

the price didnt turn me off on this kit, i really love the design of this mobile suit, on the next pay day im gonna buy another one and a gusion rebake so that i can customize a Full armor ver. of this kit....... what do u think of may idea zack? can u give me any suggestion to add in may custom astaroth?

i just apply super glue on shoulders joint to make it able to hold it huge weapon without trouble, however it own weak waist joint and the length of that bastard chopper+demolition knife still make it a bit difficult to pose
man, if you saw the price for this beast over here? 1800Y is nothing. its 2400Y here! that aside, im really surprised bandai never got to fixing the arm support issues from astaroth origin to rinascimento. even the dantalion when using the bayonet rifle can barely keep its arms up. i wish there was an additional support on the armpit polycaps that holds it in place.
i know that these are only for rex, that is why rex can say goodbye to them, the rex arms are held up pretty well by the ormal chest and shoulders so i'm going to use these on the rinascimento for a better support of the sub arm
Casey Ringer that with the primer I once tried on a rockman zero model kit, it went not so well. Long story short, the balljoint in the shoulder got stuck so hard that i ripped the ball off (wich out of context sounds painfull).
