I think it’s fascinating to see how different cultures interpret what first class means. Emirates is very opulent and over the top. Swiss is spartan with their decor. Singapore really prioritizes the service experience. Air France is exactly what I’d think a French person would consider first class: great food, chic decor, and good service, minus that weirdness with the car not coming to get you.

I’ve been meaning to comment for ages. I found your channel a few months ago after finding a lot of pleasure in watching similar train and travel vlogs. I just wanted to say your channel amongst a few others have been a huge help and comfort in a trying time. My husband was out of work from Christmas 22 until mid May and whilst I kept busy myself at work in the day, at bedtime I couldn’t just settle to reading. My mind wandered and I would worry. But watching videos such as yours have really helped. I look forward each week to new videos and save them up for bedtime. Happily my husband now has a great new job and ours worries are a lot less but hey there’s always something to worry about isn’t there. I’ll continue to enjoy your videos; happy travelling and thank you - I can’t thank you enough.

I travelled a lot for business so had collected a bajillion miles. I was heading for South Africa from Paris and booked into Business. I upgraded myself with miles to First and it was the most special flights I have ever taken. It is absolutely the way to travel - all of the comforts of something like Emirates but not so gawdy. Onboard is perfect. So yes, if you get a chance, La Premiere is probably *THE* best first class product and you would not be disappointed.

The amount of business connections people make in airport lounges and business / first class cabin is truly under-rate. Which is another reason to fly Business / First class. Thank you for sharing your experience 🙏

For lunch I would choose the leek and potato soup, foie gras terrine, either lamb confit or Guinea fowl (depending on recommendation from Maitre d Cabin), salad, and sorbet for dessert. Second meal service didn’t entice me that much. Must admit, La Premiere certainly would be worth it to me given its exclusivity and understated decor. 👍🏻

Hi friend, my father died a couple of months ago and I am presently in a hotel room just recovering from major hip replacemen surgery and trying to find an apartment after my brother and sister kicked me to the curb in order to sell the house after I stayed there and cared for my father for three years after my hubby died in 2020 and I watch your videos that take me out of my troubles and I can Dream of traveling and they bring comfort to me. this looks like a real luxury experience.Passport control/check in hassle taken care of, divine food and drink, almost a suite like experience with a curtain plus the wonderful Sisley bathroom producrs. All that's missing is a private bathroom with a shower.Excellent thanks

Another glimpse of the AirFrance offering in long distance travel! Looks pretty posh and a great sleep makes the difference!

That menu has almost everything I love to eat lol. I would probably go for the sea bream before eating as much of the mixed salad I can fit in. Potato leek soup is always a source of comfort. And I love crab cakes too.

I’d have to go with the Caviar,Crab Cakes,Lamb and for dessert some Sorbet, the entire lunch menu looks absolutely wonderful.

Followed up by some great food, comfortable bed oh and not forgetting those curtains onboard. Fantastic ! I have never been convinced to fly Air France before. As per usual a brilliant video Will. I should stop watching as you make me so envious, but in a good way! I hope you manage to see the places you actually visit. As one who is a very nervous flyer, I am in awe as to how you make it look so natural.

A twelve hour flight summoned in 13 minutes, glad your back everything look so elegant and gorgeous. The food looks so delicious, from being to the desserts. Never had that kind of drink inside the plane at your seat. But sadly this video was to Short. 👋👍😎✌️🤗

Can I just say as someone with multiple food allergies (Shellfish and red meat- have to carry an Epipen for both) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the option of creating your own mixed salad- for a premier class service that's an underrated luxury! The few times I've gotten to fly Business Class or First (which have always been last minute so I can't order ahead-and I usually get a vegetarian one just to be safe) I've had multiple experiences where I've been left with no alternative so don't eat or have witnessed the flight crew take a meal back and just watch them pick Shrimp off an entree and then serve me the exact same dish.

Wow! This is a world I'll never experience. Thanks

Great review as ever! Swiss has its own separate security check at ZRH. LH has a similar concept at VIE and FRA too. I remember watching your LX F-class review, the E-Gates F lounge was still closed. Now its open so when you are transferring Schengen to non-Schengen, you go to the A gates F lounge and they will drive you over to the E gates F lounge. Keep up the great work!
