Thanks a stack for taking the time out to explain. The instructions show the bridge but do not explain as soon as you said they are completely separate all the lights went on (12v /230v).

This saved the day TY....I almost spat the dummy and sent it back thinking it was faulty as the wiring configuration given showed + - in the power side then + - out the switch side!...edit - for anyone with instructions that show L and N for wiring.... the L is positive and the N is negative.

Reasonably well presented and greatly appreciated. I wish to add a short cutting as it concerns load/device negative wiring. Rather than routing a 2nd black from device to battery the short cut would be to route the device negative to the same terminal on the timer which leads to battery ground. Pick up both timer positive and battery negative for load right there at the CN101A. Presentation very good, brevity excellent, audio loudness also good.

Thanks for instructions. I wish this was more functional like i.e. if I want it to turn on 1 min then turn off 1 min and keep that cycle forever it's going to take me long time to register this on clock.

Question - I have solar lights on my gazebo that turn on with a remote controller but turn off automatically 8 hours later. I have wired a male and a female 12v connector using the wiring method you have mentioned, and although the timer powers on correctly (red light comes on) the output doesn't give any power, any idea?

Can you use this in between solar panel and mppt? I have a Bluetti EB3a that when the solar input drops too low, it will sit and flash which causes the internal batteries to drain. I only want the solar input to be active during peak sun hours. It doesn't allow for cloudy days, but it's better than having to plug and unplug several time during a day.

Can you use this as a timer? Just set it for let's say 15 minutes. With press of a button timer starts, after set amount of time it turns a 12 volt solenoid latch on. I want to press the button and then after a set amount of time a latch releases a door that is connected to a spring that is pulling on the door to open.. as soon as the latch retracts the door is opened. But I want this to be timed based on how much time I set the timer for. Any suggestions would be appreciated

How do i do a proper connections ie: am using this type of timer which my questions are the ac power lines directly connected to the timer " + - " terminals I've install power point sockets " + - " to 3 & 4th terminals to the timer .
