A 12v Kettle, when car camping (or vanlife), is SUCH a blessing. I can safely boil water while I drive to make coffee, ramen, and tons of other convenient means of sustenance. Does it take time to get to a high temp? Sure, but I have the time and I'm VERY happy to no longer have to use expensive gas (propane/butane) to heat my water like a pioneer. This is the best travel kettle, or portable kettle, I've found. The only downside might be that the capacity is not so big at about 12oz. I'd prefer if it were 16oz, but it's enough for what I've been using it for.
