Maybe you’ve already done a video like this I don’t know but I haven’t seen it. I think it be really fun if you guys did a video on the best things to eat at the worst Disney restaurants. Sometimes the restaurant you want you can’t get into, and you’re stuck with one of the less than stellar ones. It’s happened to me. It would be nice to know if that does happen what is the best thing on that menu.
Could we please see a video about the best snacks to buy that come with souvenir plates/cups/items that are worth the money, and some that aren't? You show a lot of cute cups and accessories on snacks but it's not clear which are things you can keep and if they cost more, or whether they're worth the extra money.
I was just in Disney World last week, I was able to mobile order and pick up food from multiple resorts. The only resort that did not allow mobile order from someone without a reservation at the hotel was the contemporary.
@@jennidelavega5234 You can resort hop if you take a bus or walk or monorail. You just can't drive and park in their parking lots. I do it all the time.
I hope they are better then the ones they had at food and wine. When I’ve had them at Brazilian steakhouse they are light and fluffy. The ones I had at the food and wine were dense and chewy, way too much tapioca.
Looooots of love from Brazil 🥰! Happy that you included one of our best dishes in WDW best eats! We usually eat pão de queijo with dulce de leche or cream cheese (called requeijão here) :) Just a tip: it's pahn-o de queijo 😊
PSA to anyone who wants to go to Beaches and Cream... Make a reservation!!! It isn’t like years past, the place was full at all times. Me and my family spent our whole week trying to get in the place via waiting lists and reservations but we never got in. No kitchen sink for me :(
I was at Olivia's Cafe for brunch just a couple of weeks ago and I would definitely recommend Raglan Road over Olivia's for brunch right now. The brunch at Raglan Road is delicious and the service is great! The food wasn't bad at Olivia's at all, but we had been there previously and it just didn't live up to its past self on this recent trip.
AJ! We love all your videos and can’t wait to employ many of your suggestions during our trip to WDW, this coming July! Also, I’m a Speech teacher and I love your fun and energetic, conversational tone of voice!
I know that you said that Disney and all of its restaurants will accommodate any dietary restrictions but I would love to see a video list of the best food in Disney World for diabetics, since both my parents are diabetic and I’m worried about their limited choices without having to make special requests. One thing I thought they might like are these build your own Satu’li bowls, which look like some kind of Asian bowls, at Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora.
Hi AJ and DFB team in the past! If you answers this, does this mean we've time traveled? Crazy... But seriously, thanks for the great run-down and we always look forward to these- esp as our Disney trips draws closer! We love the fact that we can always hear you smiling as you explain and showcase the great things about Disney! Keep up your great work! Cheers!
AJ talks about how Disney restaurants are extremely variable over time. We ate several times at the Grand Floridian Cafe and enjoyed it. Made a reservation for Mother's Day a few years ago, waited an hour an a half, and never got in. The person at the front desk treated me very poorly - I wasn't upset, just needed to know if we would get in. Went over to the Kona Cafe, they were closing for lunch, but welcomed us in and we had a great lunch. It was enough for me to never consider the GF Cafe again.
It's funny to me how obsessed AJ is with saganaki. In Michigan you can get it at any of the million coney islands around. Also jock lindsey's has a pisco sour?? That's awesome! I've rarely been able to find that outside of Chile!
I get the Brazilian cheesy bread at Skipper Canteen ❤️ as soon as the server heard I was gluten free, she suggested it... and she won my love forever 😂
Since I drive in from Texas every other year, we don't usually have time to go to Disney Springs. One of these days, I hope to have more time to visit. We do eat at Ohana every trip though.
Thanks AJ for the great tips. I will be at Disney Epcot this weekend to try snacks you have mentioned in your previous videos and going to Disney Springs. Doing a quick solo trip and I can't wait!!
WARNING FOR DOORDASH/other food ordering apps We stayed at the Caribbean beach in April during that Sunday when it was pouring rain that most of the rides were shut down and we wanted to just DoorDash some food, we couldn’t order from ANYWHERE because it was “too far away” even though it was only a few miles. We had some luck with Postmates but the food was cold when we got it, and we actually ordered from Erin McKenna’s in Disney springs...which eventually got cancelled because the order couldn’t get picked up. Just because it seems convenient, doesn’t mean it will pan out the way you want it to!
Best Disney Spings snacks? because i think that area of Disney World is constantly evolving. Also, if you go to scoops in Hollywood studios get the ice cream cookie sandwiches. I was in cookie heaven.
I was thinking that about Vegan food. would be neat if she included both in a video or something. she could also add Gluten Free. or make it like an allergen/Dietary video. 🙂
I’m not sure if this exists but I think it would be cool if there was a DFB vegetarian/vegan channel. Sometimes navigating the online blog can be difficult and I feel that it’s not always updated as regularly as the regular food is
Tips on your visit to the Water Park would be an extremely helpful video. Sadly I never got the chance to go because you can only do so much even in 7 days at Disney. Plus im a veteran and i want to know if Shades of Green is worth staying or should I just go to a value resort?
Just adding to other comments,.we just went on our trip from April 17-May 2nd and did all kinds of resort hoping without reservations. But we also didn't use bus transport, maybe that makes the difference? No clue. But we went to Poly for Captain Cooks without any problems.
we're taking off from California to florida on the 15th, staying till the 22nd. You have no idea how helpful your videos have been, even for my ocd husband that has to have everything planned out raves about how your videos one up him and are awesome. Thank you!!!!
You seem to focus on Disney Springs and hotel dining options.... I don't really have energy to be dashing around to Disney Springs and other hotels, I want to know where to eat & what to order when I'm in each of the parks.
Cinderella’s royal table is a restaurant I definitely recommend. It was so delicious and the experience was wonderful. Although it is expensive and u need a reservation it is 100% worth it
The cilantro on the veggie wrap at Ronto Roasters looked very easy to pull out of the wrap. Yeah, I’m one of those people that think cilantro tastes like soap. Remember not to get angry at people that have this issue, it is a genetic thing, so please don’t tell people they’re crazy for not liking cilantro. You wouldn’t eat something that tastes like soap either.
true that. I don't have that, so I love cilantro. I've eaten it when it started going bad before, so I can kinda see where the soap thing comes from. lol.
I would add the caveat that Morimoto Asia, if all you are after is sushi, would not be your best bet on-site - I would personally give that spot to Kimonos at the Swolphin, where the sushi is cheaper and they have more exciting options. The sushi at Morimoto’s is not bad but the choices are boring and although I am sure the ingredients are top notch the truth is that flavor-wise none of their options are special enough to justice the price point per roll. I also feel the ramen needs some perking up on the flavor department. That being said, the Peking Duck and the Ribs are more than enough reason to keep coming to and recommending Morimoto Asia day or night, date or no date.
I looked at your blog and there weren't any comments sections or place to ask questions but: Is there a chance for you to make a video on pregnant friendly food to eat? Because some of the stuff you show is a bit problematic and I have no idea what is OK or not ☹️
Question y’all: I’m currently planning a Disney trip for me and a few of my friends. Since we’re all guys with pretty big appetites, we’ve decided to go with the Disney Dining Plan. So I’ve read, it offers two Snacks, one Quick-Service Entree and one Dine-in Entree (those last two include drinks) per person per night. One spot I would definitely like to hit is Oga’s Cantina for dinner. I was planning on ordering at least one drink and the sampler platter to use up my Dine-in Entree. However, looking at the menu, the sampler platter along with the batuu bits are labeled as “snacks.” So I’m wondering, can I only use one of my snack credits for the Cantina and therefore have to buy my drink separately, or will I be able to use up my Entree credit?
Honestly, the food in FL isn't that great. I was not happy with most of the restaurants we tried at Disney :( I also didn't know about this channel until after our 2019 trip. I know better now! ;)
Yes! I did this twice during my honeymoon and baby moon. Once you complete your package online or if you call they will take a $200 deposit and give you until about 30 days or 2 weeks before your scheduled arrival to pay it off. Call them! This is something you CAN do!!!
