Keep uploading images, but categories them to the interior, exterior, team etc - use all
When adding photos think the quality

When the description is displayed, only the first 250 characters show before you have to click the more button.

Use the keywords on insights to gain more traffic and use these in your new posts
5. Use Events or Offers
Use an event to keep the Google Posts live for longer than the 7 days

it's relatively new and many don’t realise its been around for a while now. Share your Business Profile and get new reviews from customers

Don’t just add holiday hours and normal hours but you can have special hours and happy hours - You can add hours for specific services or specials to your business on Google

12. Set up messaging
Set up alerts for new questions and reviews...it's on the main menu under settings. To enable messaging, select the “Messaging” tab in your Google My Business dashboard, and you have the option to install this via Google Play or the Apple App Store
This feature gives searchers the option to send a text message to your phone directly from your Google Business Profile. With 82% of smartphone shoppers (92% for millennials) using their device for local search, this is a great opportunity for customers to get in touch with you.

Thanks Mark, so glad you like that tip. Its definitely underestimated as for years web designers would avoid using text on images for the SEO benefits, now its almost the other way round. So its a game changer to give a business a small advantage. Hi Jiong, thanks for another great question. Where are you looking for the products? Are you refing to your knowledge panel (on right hand side on desktop search results) or map info?

I did one of the tips that you recommended from 1 of your videos paired the camera call if it was this 1one. However, I had a bad review that I felt was unfair and I disputed it and less than an hour later the review was removed heard Michael go ranking jumped backup to a 4.8. I wouldn't have done that if you had enough recommended it. Thank you so much for the suggestion. Had made a huge difference for me in my busines.

Wow another fantastic video from absolutely the best channel on RU-vid. I'm new to having my first gmb page .how would you add the text to the photo and your logo ? What program would be simple easy and free for a total beginner? My new listing for the business discription area puts a orange line through every word I've added in the entire area . I tryed changing some words out and I'm under 750 characters they allow. I'm a subscriber to your incredible channel do you have any suggestions it's very frustrating for making my first gmb and I'm having so much trouble with it.. It would be a big help. Google doesn't respond. What should I do . Thank you so much for your video's and keep up the good work .

Many thanks aaajimmy b747 for your question For the orange text this is quite common - have you seen this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pCzi3oFWqZM.html I think Canva might be the best way to do that - canva.com Personally I use Photoshop, but that's due to web designing for 24 years, its expensive and not easy to pick up from the start

Hi Zanet. I just now discovered your channel, I believe you're doing a great job. I have one question, could you please help. I've my Google listing for about a year, "From the business" description box does not appear in my GMB profile like mentioned @ 5:14. I've checked the Info category thoroughly but still fails. I have my business in the Hotel category, could you guide me out?

Hi Kartikey So glad you love my series of RU-vid videos in my channel. It's hard to say without seeing it. Hotels can often have a bespoke layout due to the nature of accommodation. Although the description doesn't show for the public, are you able to find it and edit it within your Google my business control panel?

@@ZanetDesign Hi Zane I'm finding it on lots as im trying to hunt down clients for Local SEO. You have to click on manage/ own business before it will say its already managed.

Yes this is so the rightful manager can make a claim for it. Its a little confusing as it could appear when you have registered a business that its still not totally registered with Google. I did a video once where I showed you can actually make a claim for Google very own listing in California, its worth watching on my channel if you haven't seen it

Great video! Will the ‘how long your business has been established’ tip work if you have multiple locations and your optimizing your newest location (but you make the date the date your first location started)?

Good question! - Would that cause confusion for your customers, would they perceive it as misleading, or would it build confidence - i guess that is the question I would ask before choosing what to do. Would that make sense?

Hi Brent - Thanks - I cover this in my latest video. Take a look at the part where i mention Service and not shop on the registration here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DQNhpfwE4os.html You can go back into your GMB and make the changes to the address there, though there is also an option now to be what's known as a hybrid business where the address isn't shown, just the areas covered under your service, yet you do show on the map as you can have visitors without a shop front - that may be what you are looking for

Hi Austin - yes thats a question many want to understand. It appears some business categories have had it disabled by Google. I've heard of Motels and Hotel s as being affected by this in some areas. The thought is the post function isn't needed. I've no idea why. Maybe that's another mystery for me to add to the recent The 85% Logo Mystery on ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TNgOuxugB48.html

Hi thanks for wonderful video i have a question, some business show extra details in listing, want to know how ( for example BALLOON SALOON in new York ) they show extra wording in their listing " helium balloons float around and more, please reply i will be really tanksful

Actually I see you mentioned that after rereading - sorry about that. I believe this is a manual entree by Google workers. So if they feel a summary is applicable they can add it at will. I notice it's taken from several summaries on other social media sites and references. But I don't think its something you can control, in a simial way with adding the Social media network icon under "Profiles". But you can increase the likelihood of being picked up. thank you so much for reply, and thank you so much for the link. my company name is (Balloons Lane Balloon DELIVERY) but if you search party city new York, you can see ( in stock: Balloons ) this extra line in all their listing, so its look like its not just google, its somewhere from the listing, please reply, again many thanks for your first reply

Ho Sopfie - it looks like Party City are a chain of shops in USA? Often chains and larger business get extra info added by Google - I can s see the ( in stock: Balloons ) you mention though I get for Party City ££ Party shop - Retail chain stocking a wide range of themed party supplies, plus costumes & holiday decorations. On a different note: I've a special series coming out this week about some factors business need to develop that can't be seen by Google, but impact ranking, I think you will find this helpful, so keep a lookout.

Hello, I had a GMB in Salem Oregon under Window cleaning, I no longer do the cleaning, so I changed the listing to my new roofing business but it still only comes up under window cleaning and not the new name for my roofing business. Thanks

I am not trying to insult or attack you I value the advice you give but that is my advice if you want to take it. I think it's the close up I think you look better more relaxed like in your video "Delete Google My Business Page"
