He's a top 3 QB. Just not top 10 when considering all positions. Adams, Donald, Bosa, Garrett, Ramsey, Henry, Kelce, Kupp, are all better or the best at their positions and because other qbs exist that drops Allen down to 10-20 range in the NFL, not just qb. Which is more than fair. You also cannot discredit Rodgers, Mahomes and Brady.

Yup, if you look back aaron rodgers did it first , he had completely different mechanics at Cal and in his first few years in the NFL, his rotation -torque style of throwing is what is being taught today . If you look at Allen’s throwing now it’s most similar to rodgers

It's why I hate people using Allen as an example for other QBs with talent that come out struggling. What he did and became is beyond rare

He’s been to 4 straight AFC title games? He’s been league MVP? He’s been Superbowl MVP? He’s made it to 2 Superbowls? He’s thrown for 50 TD’s and 5,000 yards in the same season? He won a division that had all 3 teams in their very early rebuilding stages (Pats, Jets, Dolphins) along with all 3 having rookie QBs (Mac, Wilson, Tua) Well Tua on his 2nd year, but same thing. Then he goes to the playoffs and versus a real team and gets spanked again (choke). Perspective is realizing that Josh Allen won that game and the Bills coaching staff decided to not let that win stand. Patrick Mahomes did nothing special in the last 13 seconds, any qb in the league would've been able to make those throws, and not just the starters. Perspective is knowing that his only divisional loss came in a game with 45 mph winds and he still threw more yards than any other qb in history with similar weather. Perspective is seeing how he wiped the dirt with the #3 defense in the league in the first game of the playoffs and then had an even better game in his second game of the playoffs. Not to mention that the Patriots had the #5 scoring offense last season... so #3 and #5 offense in the early stages of rebuild? Oh you just mean they had a different QB than normal and literally every other effing player on the roster was the same. Yeah. Perspective is seeing that he holds 9 NFL records that begin with "first player to ever". All of them coming from the past two seasons.

#13 is a bit high. josh allen completed 60% or less of his passes in 8 games, lost to the worst team in the nfl ( the jags), because he culdnt score a td, had the #1 defense in the nfl by far yet only had an 11-6 record and wouldve been 10-6 if we were still in 16 game schedule. and he lost to every playoff team he played in the regular season except the chiefs when they were still trying to figure over cover 2 defense, and the patriots the 2nd time around.... josh allen is the only qb in nfl that lost to a team that threw the ball only 3 times.

If you were to re draft the entire league Allen and Mahomes would be the first 2 players taken without question. They are easily the 2 best players at any position and it’s not close. To suggest otherwise is absurd.
