I love my Quarterback --- good job mom, dad, family, and community. While I'm 61 and think Josh is fantastic I'm well aware of how real and straight up of a young man he is. Feels good to love, care, respect, and feel pride in a man without any nonsense. I wish I could feel this way about our leaders. I did to a point about our previous one. Josh does it well. This league has been crazy this year, but I wouldnt be surprised if Allen vs Mahomes isnt the next Brady vs Manning style rivalry coming out of the AFC playoffs for years to come! Both our franchises are blessed atm. Fun Fact... we traded out 8th overall pick 2017 to the chiefs in which you drafted Mahomes with. We slipped back to 30 and got some future draft capitol. We used that pick on tredavious white, our now star CB. Then used that draft capitol (along with 2 other moves) to have the seventh and sixteenth overall picks the next draft. Thats when Buffalo chose Josh Allen, and then Tremaine Edmunds (MLB) who should also be a stud for years. It's really hard to say who made out better bc Mahomes is so special... but that trade set up both our squads for years of success! Good luck the rest of the way unless its vs Buffalo, lol.

@@wdubduece8913 tbh I’m not sure that if Mahomes came to Buffalo during that time frame would have been conducive to his career. We took Allen a year later and had a ton of dead cap left from the Rex Ryan era that equated in us having a solid defense with the worst OLine and receivers in the league Allen’s rookie year. (They wanted to sit Allen like y’all did to Mahomes, but then Nathan Peterman thew 5 int’s in a half and they went with Allen ever since) That’s a long way of me saying that Mahomes getting to sit for a year w/ an excellent mentor and then having Andy Reid as your coach would benefit anybody, especially a talent like Mahomes. He was also blessed with a pretty complete team around him (especially on offense). Allen walked into a bit of a rebuild that had its foundation. We’ve come a long ways as a franchise trying to keep pace with your franchise in particular! Our teams have weirdly been connected and have made our franchises strive for greater things. It may be a heated rivalry for years to come, that at the end of the day will all come back to that draft day trade! See y’all in the AFC Championship 👀💯🤞🦬

Not saying Mahomes wouldn’t have been able to turn the Bills around, but he wouldn’t have been an instant house hold name like he was when he finally got his chance and set the league on fire. Buffalo simply didn’t have the weaponry around him (or anyone) to do that. It’s been 3 years of aggressive FA signings and decent drafting that my Bills are even close to competing with y’all. You were clearly the superior team in that AFCC game and our GM added pieces specifically to not let that happen again. (Hopefully).

@Justin Freitag relax man...read the second sentence. I've seen the numbers too and yes they are surprisingly similar but let's be real, he's been a little more inconsistent than he was last year. Stats don't give you the complete picture. Also I think the op gives the right reason for that inconsistency. He's still fairly early in his career. Also I think all our expectations were sky high after last year. I think his youth is leading to inconsistency in two ways: the x's and o's and his mental-emotional game. Last year he was the underdog, the up and comer. This year he's the known commodity and that changes everything. Perfect example is the funk Mahomes and Chiefs went through earlier this year. It's a game of adjustments and my money will always be on the super talented who have proven it before in the long term. So having said that...I expect Josh and the Bills to start hitting their stride here in December and into the playoffs just like last year.
