Hey! did they give u a longer expected date for ur macbook and airpod than when it actually arrived? i live in florida & idk if it’s bc of my state but it says it’ll Arrive August 31-Sept 8 :( my college classes start August 24th :/ i’m scared it won’t come in time and i’m hoping it comes earlier but i’m not sure

I ordered mine on July 28th and it says it will get here between Aug 5 and Aug 12. It’s Aug 6th and the order is still in the processing phase.

Yes i’m so happy that you were able to get a new laptop. I got a question: does the case fit the bottom of the laptop well, like is the top and the bottom secure and not loose? I was also wondering why you didn’t just get the 1799 model since it also has 512gb SSD and 16 gr of memory, it also has the new chip, better speakers, better longevity, etc.

Colin Aww thank you !! The case fits the bottom of my computer pretty well I think ! It’s a tad loose at the bottom top of the computer but doesn’t come off. I really wanted to get an apple computer to edit videos as well.

Lindsey Jensen there’s a macbook pro in apple that $1799 ( without student discount ) which has 16gb ram and 512gb storage and has even faster processor and louder speakers so you could have gone for that option and with student discount would have been cheaper too because you upgraded storage & memory which cost you more so wont have much of a cost difference if you got the $1799 macbook pro model cause has faster processors and 4 charging ports & the new intel chip & louder speakers & 2 cooling fans to prevent overheating unlike the one you have which has just 1 fan you could check apple website if you’re not really sure of what i’m talking about (i’m sorry for the long message i just realised you may not have understood what the other person was trying to say ) i’m wondering if you just didn’t know about this option and why didn’t chose it sorry for boring you with all that hah

I would recommend getting a skin instead of a case. A lot of people said the case can mess up the MacBook. You can get any skin design you like while protecting your MacBook from getting scratched up. I would recommend looking on Etsy to find some🤗

Leonor Barros i asked a lot of questions at the store while buying mine and they said that if u are a student, the air is good enough but if u are planning on editing or anything like that then u should get the pro. i got the air cuz i’m barely a freshman in hs and it’s working great so far.

Can you use an education discount in Apple store? I hate to get something online, because when you get a thing in a store, you can see it. Certainly, you video helps a lot, but anyway, I need to see it first, because it is hard to judge if 13" is okay or too small. Anyway, you reaction sounds promising. My opinion is too - only light, the dark will be after we die.

I understand that your previous computer did not have enough storage. I still recommend an External hard drive of 1 Terabyte. I bought a mid 2015 macbook pro with 1 TB, I wish they had a 2 TB option, with dual graphics and the i7 Processor. 1TB is enough, but I'll get an external hard drive but an external drive that it is more than 1 TB

The case you have on your MacBook Pro doesn’t say it’s specifically meant for the 2020 Mac version. So does that mean it’s ok to get any case that’s MacBook Pro 13” ?

Breathe Creative if I’m being honest I’m not 100% sure but I definitely recommend getting a case that mentions something about a Touch Bar or check the reviews to see if a customer has a 2020 version 👍🏼

i’m pretty sure it’s just a discount, i bought mine last week and i asked every question possible to the guy helping me 😂 the only thing was that some school apps were not available with it but that doesn’t have anything to do with the discount so don’t worry, and if u wanted to know i got the 2020 macbook air 13 inch

I wouldn't use a camera cover on this MacBook because a lot of people have reported there screen breaking because of how much space there is when you close the Mac. Maybe use tape?
