I found this really cool flying energy ball lookin thing (like an electron or something) on a mechanical planet, I was so exited...iv also discovered the robots, the Beatle, skrat, and the light ball (haven't seen this one but I have a base on a fissure moon so ill have to go back and look, the light pillar "glitches" you get from there ARE SO COOL) on my own on PC, which is a really fun feeling...I love space and I love exploring and collecting, and this game really lets you go crazy with the things you can find, and I'm still on my first ever playthough...Let me know if there are any PC players who want glyphs to those things I mentioned (all in EUCLID, haven't gotten far enough in story...) Really got great vids, got a cool accent, give great and straight info...been making a info playlist and its 60% you...best of luck to you edited this like 5 times...lol
Definitely agree that those pillar glitches are awesome. I think I've managed to find all of the glitches but the pillar and the hexbush are definitely favs
I found this rad Battle Cat style green dog with antlers. And a cluster of floating sentient crystals. Just when you think you've seen it all in NMS it flips the script.
The creatures I come across are pretty cool. I have a big diplo to, that has a big head. Found a giant hovering squid (Probably going to feed it's child storm crystals to make giant colossal and name it Cuthulu). I found a ball to,though it's an actual bubble with eyeballs in it, on BOTH saves in different planets. I named them both Balls and it's hilarious when I say in the party with friend "Come here Balls". Another is the butterfly moths, I found a green on and a purple one. Overall, this guy did I great job on finding his pets, but if you want something truly unique, keep exploring. The game is truly amazing now. Once you warp, pick a random planet to land on. I love a lot of planets that are not just paradise planets, but planets of fire hotter then Mustefar and colder then Hoth.
I found a planet of light today and it doesn't appear to have this black and white hue. Does this not always happen or is only on some planets of light? Would be a cool place to save if it had this effect for me.
me and my cousin got this game and spawned on the planet with the flying beetle 😂 made us instantly just want to collect pets before doing anything else
Is that glowy pet from the gray planet also glow in the normal planet in the night? Because i remember someone have a pet which has the shape of ball and it glow bright in the night and became a natural lamp 🤔
Apparently they can help in a fight, a predator pet will keep other predators away, and riding one can mask you from sentinels that have been shooting at you, so I’ve heard.
They’ll do little tasks depends on the personality traits. Helpful will dig up resources, playful will poop. Gentle will search out life forms and say hi. Independent will roam farther from you more often and take commands farther away. Devoted will stay close but needs more pats. Aggressive will hunt prey and occasionally attack hazardous fauna and creatures attacking you. They are a one hitter though! My little spider dude will chase down things 10x’s his size and drop em! He’s the size of my boot, just hatched him, but takes down stuff the size of a horse. They don’t really do much overall but they’re cool and mixing up their traits causes them to behave differently. They do occasionally bring me bones worth 100k-1 mil. Mostly I just like having one of my little dudes running around with me while I’m doing stuff. I play in VR and it adds to the experience. ✌️
I don’t know, and I’ve certainly tried. I can’t feed it directly no matter how close I get. However, I did set up an observation base on that planet with power and automated feeders. The little fellas still can’t be tamed, but they sure do love the free lunch!
@@toddoakes5877 there is also an option to throw a food pellet on the ground with your character(to the left of companions panel), which attracts animals to that spot. This is also a very efficient way of getting animal food products like eggs without spending a lot of carbon, or doing missions on taming animals
