I came across this while researching about the sons of Joseph's, specially because Jacob blessed Ephraim and said in effect "that a group of nations would come from him" (I paraphrase). So off course I came, as before, across all these videos on the "10 lost tribes of Israel" and find most, far fetched. I found yours to be the most sensible and factual and have now subscribed to your channel to, hopefully learn more, about the tribe of Ephraim. I have researched the Samaritans last year and so will now listen to your video as well on that. Thank you for your seemingly grounded information. I am a Christian who love the Bible, especially the OT books as I believe that the God if Abraham, Isaac and Jacob cannot be understood and obeyed without studying the books of Moses and the prophets. I love the Jewish people and respect their traditions. I keep Shabbat. But I will not claim I am a Jew or a descendent from the "lost tribes".

If I’m understanding the professor here I think he’s saying that a lot of the people euphemistically referred to as the 10 tribes simply mailed it in with other peoples in the area or farther out. The only part that I don’t get it makes no sense to me is that I don’t see how a person from the Middle East can be Caucasian and claim to be from one of the 12 tribes.

This Video is the first I have watched and for some reason, even though I am almost out of battery I was drawn to this. I have been alone for the past few years and even though I was raised Catholic I have been studying the Talmid and the Torah. I have been wanting to go to Israel even though I've never been there and feel like a lost sheep in America. My dentist told me that O am a Native American - He said he knows this because of the shape of my teeth. When you said the Lost Tribes could be the Native American's I almost fainted. I want to go home where I belong. Thank you for your teaching Rabbi. Love from Katie

Read the Torah all day long & obey it....but NEVER read the Talmud. Jesus, the Messiah, who came to teach the Jews that they were practicing Judaism improperly constantly pointed out how the Talmud violated the Torah. This is why Jesus broke Talmud law often upsetting the Jewish authorities who enjoyed writing their own laws to override Gods laws. Christianity should have become proper Judaism....instead it was grafted into pagan religions & it dropped its Jewish roots, both a heresy. The closest we have today to the religion God wants us to practice is Messianic Judaism. Where the Torah is taught & practiced, all the Jewish feasts are celebrated. Messiah is honored & worshipped. Todays so called Christians, worshipping trump in some churches is appalling!

Very, very interesting thank you Prof. Abramson. When you said that only 20% of Jews left Egypt with Moses to go North to Israel, and 80% remained, I tend to think that some migrated South along the Nile deeper into Africa. In my tribe the Kalenjin in Kenya, East Africa, a lot of our traditions and names are eerily Jewish in origin and we trace our migration into Kenya from the North in Egypt, which we call Ka-kepta. Before colonization by the British brought us Christianity, we were monotheistic and called our God among other names Cheptal-El. Many of our place names have the El prefix, El-Kony (Mountain of God), El-dama Ravine, El-burgon, El-doret. We circumcise all males but not at 8 days, at 10-14 years as a rite of passage. We do not mix meat and milk when cooking or eating. We have a clan of priests like the Cohens, and only they can perform religious rites, including very specific animal sacrifice rites. We also have a story of a mass circumcision at Gilgil (Hebrew Gilgal) after years of wandering the wilderness, before we crossed a river called Choryaan (Hebrew Jordan) and went on to conquer Kericho (Hebrew Jericho). During circumcision, there is also a song that references Moses parting the waters of the sea. It says if it were not for Moses (whom we call Musaika), parting the sea we would all be dead. Moses survives in our language today as araap Mosonik (son of Mosonik), and Mosonik is a name given to left-handed children just as Moses was. Jacob I believe means 'to hold', and in our language 'koop' means to hold, so one born being held firmly is given the name 'Chekoop', similar to Jacob. I don't know if this is just all an eery coincidence, but we feel a very strong kinship with Jews, Jewish tradition, and with Israel to this day.
@HenryAbramsonPhD

That is quite fascinating, Ms. Kipkemoi! I especially find the theophoric names interesting. Note that the name Ya'akov means literally "he will uproot" and the pun comes from the Biblical account of his birth, in which he grasps the heel ("ekev") of his older twin brother Esau. Thank you for sharing!

I love these lectures and look forward to more. Forgive my ignorance when asking questions. I've never practiced any religion but was born into a christian family. I have become fascinated with jewish history. I am from west Texas and our history is tied closely with New Mexico. We are now learning those early spanish settlers were basically fleeing to the edges of the empire to escape the inquisition. You mentioned in this short lecture about reclaiming captives is a jewish thing. Are you aware that reclaiming captives from native Americans was a big deal for the New Mexicans. They even asked and received permission from the government to do it. The conditions included conversion to catholic church. Regardless thousands of captives were redeemed by Hispanics and later became known as genizaros. They would travel hundreds of miles to redeem captives to bring to Santa Fe and put with families. We have a canyon here near Lubbock Texas that gets its name from the early spanish settlers from New Mexico. It is called Ransom Canyon, or canon de Rescate. Maybe it is possible the crypto jews of New Mexico were secretly practicing their jewish customs?

Something deeply spiritual is happening all over the world. Some have termed it “Hebrew Roots Movement.” I believe it’s a negative connotation. With no outside influence, people all over the world are “waking up” and being moved to obey the Torah. Are you aware of this? I was a born again, evangelical Christian for 23 years. My husband was a pastor. We were missionaries. Then, eight months ago, I began to have a spiritual awakening and a deep urgency to obey the Torah. My husband is 45 and plans on getting circumcised soon. Our family has been persecuted by the church, and we’ve lost our dearest friends. But absolute strangers are being brought into our lives who are all having similar experiences with this awakening. I believe prophecy is being fulfilled, and the 10 lost tribes are waking up...”In those days ten people from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’ This is happening!!! Please, be patient as we all try to figure our way back into the family and learn the ways of our Father.

A huge issue is people seem to forget/ignore the unconditional, irrevocable, guaranteed Devine promises made to Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Ephraim, and Manashe, which were not fulfilled anciently. Judah was promised the scepter, but the national greatness, the material blessings, were promises primarily to Joseph and the Creator is not a liar. He has also prophesied and promised to restore them and to unify Judah and the whole house Israel. Other views on the subject are in contradiction to the Devine decrees and are in opposition to Faithfulness of scripture.

Hello Paulo, there are 12 tribes. All of which happen to be Black people. The kingdoms split into 2 factions, the northern kingdom called Israel, and the southern kingdom called Judah. The Bible says, slavery was the curse of Israel. So , go read Deuteronomy 28:68. That verse only fits 1 group of people. Judah, Benjamin and Levi were the southern kingdom. This guy right here, is Jewish, not the Jews of the Bible. He is a descendant of Japheth. His grandson was Ashkenaz. This guy here is Ashkenzai. God’s people are descendants of Shem, then Abraham, issac, then Jacob. Noah’s son Hamm, is the progenitor of Egyptians, Ethiopians, North and South Africans. But not the negro. We are from Shem. There is no way his people could be Gods people. They were enslaved by Egyptians, who were Blacks. Genesis 50 tells of the death of Jacob. During which, during the mourning, Egyptians could tell the difference between themselves and Israelites. Read Rev 2.9 and 3.9. That tells you who the ashkenazi are.
@annemurphy9339
@annemurphy9339 2 года назад
@@peteveal9836 Your post is complete rubbish. You do realize Elhaik had to recant his 2011 paper that alleged the Ashkenazi were converted Khazars, after being outed by the very scientists who supplied his study with the genome datasets for tweaking the data to force his predetermined outcome. This is called fraud, not science. The Ashkenazi have since been repeatedly tested and soundly confirmed to carry the authentic Semitic/Levant genome. It is now also known that over 40% of modern Ashkenazi are descended from only four Hebrew females who migrated to Europe over 1,000 years ago. The tribe of Judah is not black and has never been black. The very ancient synagogue mosaic portrait of King David, playing his harp & signed with his name, reveals him as every bit the handsome, “fair and ruddy” man of scripture: a blonde. This is reality.

The murals in Egypt illustrate exactly what the original Hebrews looked like. These people were enslaved in Egypt. There were not Europeans. The original Hebrew people look like the Lemba tribes. This undisputable. The only way people can grow is to accept truth! However, the people are waking up about who they really are! Read Duetoronmy 28: the only people that line up with the scriptures are the "Negros." The bible itself focuses on Africa. Middle East was in fact Africa not a political designation. The truth can no longer be hidden. Intellectual analysis can not hide the truth. It's really sad that history has been "white washed." The first people " Melinated People that inhabited all the continents around the world gave the world literature, architecture, music, mathematics, and technology has been deliberately left out of the education system. The contributions have intentionally been hidden. Why is this? It would certainly disprove the narrative that has been taught. It remains so even today. People would rather believe lies that make them feel special than the truth that will cause them to be human. Shalom!

i don't know what the scholar community called the northern tribes of ancient Israel "Lost Tribes" because they were never lost. The only metaphor found in the Hebrew Bible with the phrase 'lost sheep" is because Israel had false teachers that led Israel astray to sin. If you read Isaiah 11:11,12 and Obadiah 1: 20 ; Romans 15:24,28 it will tell you what geographical locations were sent the exiles of Israel and the tribe of Judah.

Please allow me to shed further light to the subject. Zephaniah 3:10, Isaiah 11:11&12 give us geographical locations of where Israel scattered to. Hosea 9:3 says after Assyria, Ephraim(10 tribes) would go to Egypt/Africa. Obviously not all would go, some were left in Assyria. The Igbo (bastardised "Hebrew") have an oral tradition that they escaped Assyria (2 Chronicles 30:6) and ran to Egypt->Ethiopia->West Africa. Our own (Bantu - Kongo people) tradition says that we came from Israel as soldiers sent to Egypt by King Manasseh, we never went back but rather came down the Nile and into Southern Africa : Zimbabwe - > Kalahari (where the ruins of "new Jerusalem" are found) - > the greater Sub-Sahara

The historical records shows the Assyrians did not take everybody from the northern kingdom(Israel) they only took the king and the elites and those out of Samaria. @@memcrew1 right on. 2 Chronicles 30:6 Hezekiah pleads with those who remained so that if they came to keep these customs God would maybe bring back those who escaped Assyria to inner Africa. According to 2 Kings 18, when he took some of the northern tribes, he replaced them with other nations, perhaps that's the reason the other dudes didn't come back home after Assyria because they had no homes in Samaria. Remember the account of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well, it didn't sound like Jesus was addressing an Israelite at all... From reading these comments, I find it interesting how many people believe they are Israelites, including the fake Jews living in Israel currently that Revelations 3:9 speaks of. The Bible is clear on who the Israelites are and what they look like. Because of the color of their skin, they’re very easy to identify, which means they are not lost-only scattered. 🌸

The Ten tribes and who they are, is more than easy. 1. The Stone tablets of the Kings Bibliothek of Sargon the 2nd, called the people who are the 10 tribes GiMiR, and they were resettled as a puffer zone. Also that they won a war against Urartu (before Urartu reached Assyria they attacked the resettled israelites for it... a bad idea, cause the lost tribes conquered Urartu instead). 2. The Behistun inscription in Iran call them also as GiMiR, and there is also a translation into greek and they called the GiMiR -> "SAKA", and SAKA we know since the greeks started their history, are the Scythians! 3. Gimir becomes Cimmerian, Saka becomes the Saka-Suni, the Sak-Suns (Sac's Sons [Isaac's Sons]) and later the Saxons! Cimmerians are now known as the east frisians, Saxons are also in West Germany and the Tartarian, Barbarian are now the Bavarians [beer brewers] 4. Oh and Germany - or better Germanii (means pure or original in latin) were the guys that are renamed from the romans! After a strugle between the real Scythians and the Sarmations who called themself also Scythians... but in fact the Germans or the Scythians defeated the romans, and also the Babylonians and also the Assyrians... Yes and the bible told of it in a prophecy that they will take possesion of the gates of their enemies... what a coincidence that the Gate of Babylon stands in Berlin, the gate(s) of Rome in Munich and other german towns and the gates of Assyria in Trier. God called them also as his Battle Axe... a perfect description for his warriors with the Battle Axe and shield! Oh and the english and french people are germans two!!! Angles -> English, Franks - France, also the greatest part of the USA, Canada, Danmark, Finland, etc. And it come thru what god promised to Abraham, that he turn his seed into "Nations"!!!

Just from a historical perspective, it would make more sense if the 12 tribes, are technically all still represented in the "Jewish" people. Just considering the events that would have taken place, those left behind or escaping invasion would theoretically flee to Judah, or return to Judah when they could. Not that all individuals would. Many probably staying in those places, integrating and so on. But it's more likely the tribal land was ended, but not the people from the tribe. Especially if all weren't actually taken into captivity, which is likely. So it's not that the tribes themselves are "lost", but tribal land was lost and individual members of those tribes might have been "lost". But if we are talking about representation by lineage, then between tribal intermarriage prior to destruction of a Northern Kingdom, on top of the likelihood that some would have fled to Judah or the surrounding regions, eventually making their way to Judah, then all the tribes would be represented in the population of Judah. At a time when tribal affiliation seems to have become far less important through the following periods. We no longer know who is from the "tribe of Benjamin" vs the "tribe of Judah", all becoming broadly "Judean". Which would make sense no matter what tribe one was from living in the land of Judah. Except I suppose Levites, who never had their own land anyway, according to tradition/text. Eventually, just based on time and marriage, all marrying into the tribe of Judah at one point or another until one population existed. Which more begs the question, is the tribe the people or the land? I'd say it's the people.

@jessereichbach588
@jessereichbach588 2 года назад
@@blkdiamond7227 Yes, I think for the descendants of those individuals to return. As represented by their tribes. Obviously the biblical mythology put a religious connotation to those events, and there's no way of knowing to what extent it is exaggerated, but I would say also the tradition holds that non-Cohens, Levites are called "Israel", as that is what they represent, the remainder. Not Judah and Benjamnites, but "Israel". "Fighter of God". From the biblical Jacob obviously. The biblical "lost tribe" element seems to coincide when tribal affiliation was becoming less important. Again, that would seem to represent the entire population of Jacob's children, not just the 3, Judah, Benjamin, Levi. Now it might be 70% Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Or 60% or whatever. But that still means Jacob's other children are represented within the population. No longer "tribes", all "Judean" or Jewish. Yehudim. And the only remaining tribal affiliation uses the Levite/Cohen and Yisrael denotations. "Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all the house of Judah and Benjamin and to the rest of the people, saying, 24 ‘Thus says the LORD, ‘You must not go up and fight against your relatives the sons of Israel;" house of Judah and Benjamin and to the rest of the people...... telling them all night to fight their relatives, the sons of the house of israel. Meaning Judahs, Benjamins and the rest of the people were all related to the sons of the northern kingdom. Now, consider this, we know that tribes intermarried, meaning immediately, there should have been people from all tribes already residing and having children in the other tribes. Next, when the united "Kingdom" broke into two, that would have meant people with a relative in a northern Kingdom in Judah would have to choose where to stay and vice versa. Further, there would have been businessmen and merchants from all the various tribes in other city centers, meaning Jerusalem and in the Northern capital. And likely trading ports, hubs, whatever Likely settled down in that territory to some extent, having families and so on. What happens when people marry someone from another territory? Often member of that spouses family will come to live in the new region or vice versa. SO there must have been Northern Kingdom tribal affiliated individuals in the south and Southern Kingdom affiliated individuals in the north. Then add on that the likelihood that at least some would have fled south with the coming of the Assyrians, but also, if possible, SOME at least would have returned or tried to. And yes I know the story about the river and how they were stopped, the mythology of it. I'm not necessarily talking about big numbers. Hundreds? Thousands? Who knows? But we are almost certainly talking about the population of Judea consisting of the descendants of members of all the tribes. And then very most likely, more when Israel fell. Thus the Judean population and thus the Jews, representative of all Jacob's children. Who, let's be honest, probably weren't all Jacob's children. But that's a different story. This, why non Cohens and Levites are still represented as "Yisrael". The only lineages at least partially keeping track, being Cohens and Levites. Who, I mean at this point share the majority of their genome with the rest of the Israelites (modern Jews). So there is one basic gene pool, with variation of course, and 2 semi "protected" male lineages. Thus it's safe to say that at this point, all modern Jews would have ancestry leading back to ALL of the tribes at one point or another. And then because the population tends to be small and relatively homogenous, multiple ancestries from each tribe over the course of 2500 years or whatever.

@@blkdiamond7227 Not only isn't TMH capable, it was never the aspiration or plan of TMH. It is man written interpretation of "God's" word and man's mythology. And it always has been. "He" doesn't say anything. If you can't even grasp that, you don't grasp any of it. You certainly can't grasp what Yeshua was actually talking about because Yeshua, as much as anyone, understood this. And he states it overtly in his writings, some of which actually made it through the Roman filtration process. That IS what it is. It's cryptic mysticism. It's not what you so narrowly consider "prophecy" in the Christian context. And again, you are reading a King James version. How do you folks not get that the King James version is different than the the various Christian bibles that came before it, which are ALL different than the actual Hebrew bible and Yeshua sect texts. Different language, translation, context and content. You are reading a translation of a translation of a translation, with numerous renditions within that format created by a polity for a specific social purpose. So the originals, the Hebrew bible and Yeshua sect texts, "man's interpretation of God's word". And then that interpretation, again filtered through various Empires and their dictates, abstracted, distorted and reformed as something else. Something extraordinarily European relative to it's original form. You aren't reading "the word of God" you are reading an English interpretation of a Roman creation based on Hebrew texts that you have never read and do not understand. And it's most ironic that to support your oh so baseless theory, you depend on a Western European, English monarch's interpretation and control mechanism. That's probably the funniest part of all of this. The very people who you seem to hold in contempt and mistrust, who you and others seem to believe are behind centuries of conspiracy and cover up, the source of the artificial constructs that effected the ancestors of every ADOS American.... and THAT's the version you choose to "trust" and base a whole list of nonsensical theories on? Absolutely HYSTERICAL. Man, someone sold yall a bill of goods and you handed over everything. It IS what it is. And that's what it is. You certainly have been conned, and you depend on the text of those who conned you. And "the lost tribes" aren't themselves "lost". Their land was lost and individuals were lost, but they are wholly represented among the modern Jewish people. The "Jews", a term that means "Judean" or "Yehudim". Not the tribe of Judah, but the Kingdom of Judah. The Kingdom of Judah in which all 13 tribes are represented and were represented. Waiting for individuals to return to the fold. But the "tribes" are already represented within the "Jews otherwise known as "Judeans" and "Israelites". You have no idea what the Hebrew bible says or what Yeshua believed. ALL you know is what the Roman Empire and then King James wanted you to know. And then you have the naivety to suggest that other people are "lying" and that the world has been covered up, history covered up, by those same Romans and Brits. Talk about taken for a ride. Corruption reading corruption and spouting corruption, claiming to be the authentic ones. Yet they've never read the authentic versions or heard the authentic words. The "lost tribes" myth is a lesson that you clearly haven't learned. Thus the lost stay lost. No community is more lost than that which holds sacred the beliefs of their bondage. If there is one absolute lesson in the Hebrew bible, that is it. And still you persist on basing all your beliefs on the words of those who are responsible for that bondage. AMAZING. Why would anyone expect you to understand the rest if you can't even grasp that? That's the life you choose. Enjoy.

I'm curious why people are searching for the groups that left Egypt. The Lost tribes are not lost, they left both Egypt and Jerusalem for various reasons. Technically speaking the old Jewish people were actually egyptian/African, and the comparably recently founded state of Israel has claimed the lost tribes of moses as Israeli tribes, yet Israel did not exist as we know it today. I can't help but feel the search for the lost tribes is because of something they may have possessed. Given Africa has so many dialects it is possible the tribes divided because they did not speak the same languages as eachother, and potentially held different beliefs to eachother and likely left to form their own settlements that may not neccesarily resemble or align with modern day Jewish beliefs. I am also somewhat confused how we are led to presume the entirety of Jewish people were all 'slaves' in Egypt. If there were no Jewish people outside of Egypt then the Jewish faiths surely must originate from Egypt, implying the Jewish faiths are derived from much older egyptian/Muslim belief systems. If there were Jewish faiths existing before moses led some from Egypt and into the dessert where they had little hope of surviving the journey, I can't help but feel moses may not neccesarily have been acting in their best interest. I fail to see the need to cross the Nile delta to get to Jerusalem, although if the Nile was formerly took a different path to that of today, it may well have run closer to the pyramids in giza, which would explain the claims of water erosion and perhaps some of the sand. Given the Muslim faiths are more akin to that of a lost tribe rather than original, and the Egyptian culture is much older than Jewish, Muslim and Christian beliefs, it makes sense the 3 groups are 3 of the 13 lost tribes of Israel, which became 10 as 3 distinct faiths all connect to Jerusalem and Egypt, as can many other popular faiths such as Islamic beliefs and Gnosticism to mention but a few. How is it we actually know how many tribes of Israel there were for sure? Unless someone documented where each tribe settled there is no way of knowing if the lost tribes divided further to create more tribes. Perhaps jesus was of one tribe, his 12 disciples members of other tribes, making 13 tribes that is perhaps symbolic and coincides with a 13 month calendar. There are some that claim there were 13 and a half tribes. Perhaps there was a secretive group to justify the half tribe, or perhaps they represent the moon as a half, or medium of all the tribes beliefs combined, but not specifically identifying as a singular belief/tribe, and do they essentially were never officially recognised as existing. My comments above are all speculation of course, and I am not an expert in religious history, but the basic fundamentals I feel legitimise my comments to some degree and worthy contemplation.

John Wilkinson, who availed himself of the recent visits of Deacon Abraham and other Nestorians to this country to learn the fact from their own mouths, I am indebted for this part of my answer. Here, from the banks of a river which still bears its ancient name of Khabour, to the shores of the lakes Wan and Oorumieh are a people numbering a million and a half, speaking Syriac, the language of Israel in their captivity, with strong Jewish features and Jewish names, calling themselves Ben i Israel, children of Israel, part of them professing the Jewish faith, and part Christians; these, however, retaining all such Jewish customs and ceremonials even to the peace offerings (I .. ev. vii.), vows, and purifications as are not incompatible with a belief in Jesus as the Messiah, just as did the Jewish Christians and the Apostle St. James. They are called Apostates by their unconverted brethren, Nestorians by ecclesiastical writers (not by themselves), because they supported Nestorius in his opposition to the expression θεοτόκος;, 'without however adopting his heresy concerning the Incarnation. They themselves state that some of their forefathers having gone up to Jerusalem at the Feast of Pentecost," the Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and dwellers in Mesopotamia," of whose presence the writer of the Acts makes mention, caught the Pentecostal fire, and preached Jesus to their countrymen on their return, and that at their request the Church of Jerusalem sent down the Apostles SS. Thomas, Thaddeus, and Bar- tholomew, names still honoured among them, to confirm them in their faith. What a wonderful light does not this throw on the address of the Epistle by St. James, Bishop of Jerusalem, "to the twelve tribes scattered abroad"! " -"The Nestorian Christians, or the Lost Tribes.'' Murray & Co., 3rd Edition, 1844. 200: Have the Ten Tribes been Lost?

Why do use the term "Bible?" This isn't a matter of preference. I'm just trying to understand. Isn't there another Jewish world for the scriptures?
@HenryAbramsonPhD
@HenryAbramsonPhD 3 года назад
There are several other terms: Jews generally use the Hebrew acronym "Tanakh," sometimes "Scripture" or "Holy Scripture" is appropriate, but I often use Bible just to be more easily understood. The Jewish Bible is of course different than the Christian Bible, in that it does not include the New Testament, nor the Apocrypha.

There is a lot of the J2 Y haplogroup between Italy and Iran. The Israelite Semitic mtDNA is common throughout all of Europe and the swath mentioned. Then there is that mysterious I paternal haplogroup that goes through Europe into Scandinavia. (That's what I am.) Ha Shem knows.

Some think many of the most wealthy in the northern kingdom escaped to Europe (before being captured). There are ancient Hebrew inscriptions dates to that time that are hard to explain. Whoever it was became successful merchants.

Yes. Everywhere really. A YT video titled Dr Stephen Pidgeon’s research into what happened to ancient Israel is a great compilation of most of what I’ve read over the years plus some. Excellent work. In fact, the 40K number of reported captives was a very small portion of what we know the population in the northern kingdom had to of been. Probably most of the Christian population.

Interesting 🧐. I never heard Dr. that only 20% of original Hebrew nation had left with Moses. Also I have a sincere question! Is Aramaic possibly the true Hebrew language? I ask because all of the oldest scriptures I’ve heard of that were found in the Dead Sea scrolls were written in Aramaic. Also another question does a Family crest perhaps help identify any ties to the Israelites?
@marcusrivera1510
@marcusrivera1510 3 года назад
No, the Hebrew language descends from Proto-Canaanite (others descendants being Phoenician, Moabite, Ammonite etc.) although, there is a close bond with Aramaic and Canaanite languages since they both belong to Northwest-Semitic along side Ugaritic. The reason it is used in a lot of Jewish scriptures is because 1: we adopted Aramaic after the Babylonian exile, and 2: At that time Aramaic was the lingua franca of the Middle East. Hope this helped!

@@marcusrivera1510 I appreciate the response. However there is much more insight on information concerning the original Hebrew! I’ve been watching some various scholars and just Laymen who study the Language extensively and it appears for certain Moses could write in Hebrew and perhaps goes back to Joseph Ben Israel. Either way it’s interesting, and in addition the book of Jubilees states that the language of Heaven is the Hebrew language! Thank you for your response though!

The Bible speaks for itself and it is so bold on identity of the 12 tribes where they scattered! Isaiah 11:10-11 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. 13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. Currently there are only three tribe of Benjamin , Juda , Levi with some converted immigranted jews world wide live in Israel ! but Israel are 12 tribes! The bible verses below testify of truth! After the split of the Israel Kingdom at the time of King Solomon's rule in the 10th century BCE, the Scriptures generally differentiate between "Judah" and "Israel", as between "the House of Judah" (the Southern Kingdom of, the Jews from their Capitol in Jerusalem) and " the House of Israel" (the Northern 10-Tribed Kingdom, with their Capitol in Shomron). The latter is also commonly referred to as "the House of Ephraim" or "the House of Joseph". The "House of Jacob" refers to all the Tribes of Israel. The "House of Israel", in some instances, when it appears not paired with a reference to Judah, could also refer to all 12 Tribes. The context should confirm which is meant. It is important to bear these terms in mind when reading the Tanach ('Old Testament') references to 'Israel', 'Judah', 'Ephraim'. 'Yoseph', etc. Jeremiah 3:14-18 "Return, faithless people," declares YAH..., "for I am your Husband. I will choose you - one from a town and two from a clan - and bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after My own Heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land," declares YAH..., "men will no longer say, 'The Ark of the Covenant of YAH....' It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made. At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of YAH..., and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of YAH.... No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. In those days the House of Judah will join the House of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your forefathers as an inheritance.." Yechezk'El (Ezekiel) 37:15-19 "And the Word of YAH... came to me saying, 'And you, son of man, take one stick to yourself and write on it, For Judah, and for his companions, the sons of Israel. And take another stick and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions. And draw them one to one for yourself, into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand. And when the sons of your people shall speak to you, saying, 'Will you not declare to us what these mean to you?' Say to them, 'So says YAH...: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions. And I will put them with him, with the stick of Judah, and I will make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand.' Yechezk'El (Ezekiel) 37:20-28 And the sticks shall be in your hand, the ones on which you write before their eyes. And say to them, 'So says YAH...: Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations, there where they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and will bring them into their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be for a king to all of them. And they shall not be two nations still. And they will not be split into two kingdoms any more. And they will not still be defiled with their idols, even with their filthy idols, nor with all of their transgressions. But I will save them out of all their dwelling places where they have sinned in them, and I will cleanse them. So they shall be for a people to Me and I will be their G-d. And My Servant, David, shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments and keep My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell on the land that I have given to my servant, to Jacob, there where your fathers dwelt in it. And they shall dwell on it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, forever. And My Servant David shall be a ruler to them forever. And I will cut a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant it shall be with them, And I will place them and multiply them, and I will put My sanctuary in their midst forever. And My tabernacle shall be with them, and I will be their G-d, and they shall be My people. And when My sanctuary shall be in their midst forever, the nations shall know that I, YAH..., sanctify Israel.'" Yechezk'El (Ezekiel) 39:23-24 And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to Me. So I hid My Face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword. I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid My Face from them. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: He shall cleans ungodliness ( sinful live ) from Jacob !

@clairebeane3455
@clairebeane3455 3 года назад
@@anthonysamuels8136 As I am sure you aware, the Transatlantic Slave Trade began in the early 15th century and was a pact between Africa and Europe. In the late 1400s Portugal was noted as doing business with rulers and wealthy African merchants who traded their tribesmen as slaves to the Europeans for goods and services. They would then spirit them off to Europe. As early as 1503 the Spanish were kidnapping Africans from the west coast of Africa and taking them back to the Americas. By 1518 the first African captives were taken to the “New World America” by said Spanish to work the land and serve the colonizers as slaves. It wasn’t until nearly 400 years in 1865 later that they were officially (but not really) emancipated in the Americas. That said, this is no place for your Black Hebrew rhetoric, and America as your hypothetical Egypt.
