Try 3 dates, 1tbsp cacao powder, 35grams salted peanuts, 15grams oatmeal and a dash of salt. Blend it in a food processor, roll into balls, if you want to roll them in coconut flakes or cocoa powder, & put into freezer for 1 hour. Sooo good! :)
Plane food is super salty because your tastebuds are depleted at high altitude due to the dry air and the low pressure so airlines over compensate with lots of salt and sugar. Fun fact for the day! ;)

you can have really healthy pizza if you make it healthy! Load it up with veggies and if you can, make your base from scratch or buy a lower gluten pizza base like spelt or rye sourdough!

Yeah, definitely changed my skin. I always had spots on my chin, could never get rid of them for over ten years. Have been vegan for a year and I no longer get spots on my chin, skin looks and feels sooooo much better 😃
going vegan has improved my skin a lot! i used to have severe cystic acne and ever since i cut out dairy and eggs (i was vegetarian for 6 years before going vegan) my skin has become clear! :)
not all vegan foods are made equal, she eats whole foods and doesn't use alot of oil. If you eat whole plant foods(meaning not processed foods) like her you'll definitely have beautiful skin, speaking from experience as well. But I have to insist though, whole foods healthily cooked, no deep frying etc

Me too! I usually make sure I have toothbrush and toothpaste in my hand luggage and brush before landing which helps! And taking a spare pair of underwear! Makes such a difference to freshen up!
I love them " eat real hummus crips" the sea salt flavour is amazing they are so low in calories and taste absolutely amazing! So glad I found them when I went on a diet because they helped me a lot

Best thing ever on a long flight is to put on an over-night hydrating mask that is clear! I like the origins overnight intense hydration mask! You look a bit shiny with it on but it works great to keep you hydrated!!
I'm a vegetarian because I thought being vegan would be too hard, but I started working part-time at a vegan food chain, and wow it makes me realize how NOT difficult it is to be vegan and that there are still so many delicious choices! which is why I love watching your videos, because you show me even more things that can be done with healthy foods x
going on a 20 hour road trip (I'm moving) with my sister, mom, brother, and dad and we're splitting up for the drive so I know I'll find myself driving mostly with my mom and sister so I want to make it fun and memorable. so, getting fun snacks and games will be really gr8 for my 7 year old sister.

Niomi you really inspire me, not to eat plant based, but to really consider what I am putting into my body and also look after my well being. You inspired me to start running and although I haven't been too many times I managed to get out and do it which is something I never thought I would do. I made the chickpeas but didn't have any smoked paprika so I used smoky bbq fajita seasoning and OMG I can't stop eating them, I don't ever want to eat crisps again, these chickpeas are so good.
I can vouch for the chickpeas, I make them all the time they are so easy and so cheap and so tasty!!! as for the chocolate energy balls, they look amazing!! I am going to try them this week!
The salt preserves food so maybe that's why they use a lot of it to keep the food fresh. In the olden days before fridges they used salt in their pantries to keep the food fresh😊🤓
Airplane food is often salty because most people drink loads of water on plane, which is great. Salt keeps cramps and such away and keeps balance when you drink much

Naomi, did you know you can request special meals on board planes? I'm pescetarian but sometimes my airline doesn't always have a vegetarian option so I make sure to request in advance but they always have lots of options whether you're vegan, have allergies or religious dietary requirements. They are always really accommodating and I've been given vegan meals before which I really enjoyed!
Food is usually salty on planes because you lose some of your perception of salt and sweetness is lost when you are on a plane (due to the high altitude and low humidity levels), so they salt it pretty well.

Heston Blumenthal the chef did a tv show about plane food, pretty sure it tells you about salt in plane food... and also some other interesting stuff :)
you can take food as long as the liquid is within the limit and the food is in see through zip locks or containers, you can also ask your airline to add a note to your booking to advise them beforehand that you will be bringing food for medical or dietary purposes. If you're putting food in your hold baggage you can take as much as you want as long as they're in containers and they meet your luggage allowance limit.... I work for an airline :)

I love your videos, they motivate me so much! You always have everything planned, but still keep it simple. I have those times during the year when I am addicted to your channel and I am catching up on the videos I have missed. Now is one of those times haha. I'll be flying soon too and your travel snacks really inspired me. I am a vegan myself too and know the difficulties we vegans may face when travelling such as buying food at the airport etc.
