High phase and Low phase... Mental and Physical health wise is how I judge phases. Back aches, muscle aches, stomach aches, heart aches, family gone aches. Seems every month I go through ups and downs a bit, but mostly accept life as a blessing and realize after 65 years my body and mind reacts differently to thoughts and feelings than it did when younger. At the 11 minute mark I’ve thought this allot lately and being so down from separating I’ve concluded in the last 3-4 months I’m the same, I don’t give a shit any more, I’m so done with slaving away, I’ve thought a while back that there’s an easy option and just check out, but I also believe sometimes we don’t have one soul mate and that maybe I’ll be as lucky as you are mate, bless your content because it’s people like you that are keeping me in this world. The eucalyptus can be used in hot water with a towel over head to collect steam and breathe in. It helps unstuff a nasil passage or stop a runny nose and heals a chest or stops a cough help heal a throat...keep those leaves bag them up!!!

Nice video, great to hear your reflection on your life style and your thoughts. I've been walking on the planet now for 61 years and agree that a more slower life style is the better choice. Difficult even in Thailand sometimes when weddings and funerals are on its like reel reel reel ( hurry hurry) hah! I like the live each minute philosophy with generosity, love and compassion. Not to take things seriously, empty your mind of negativity and always think positive. Accept things for what they are and don't think too much. We don't need to hear much of the outside world, I find that most of it is just a distraction. Best your best and live your world. My Thai wife and I spend 3 months at our House in a village near Korat city. We love it and we also love our life in Melbourne too living on a lake with nature nearby. Keep up the great content. There are so many beautiful soft Thai songs to pick of. Good one! Life, indeed moves in waves. The low ones are not fun, but I view them as "times during which the system upgrades and re-boots", and you come out as a better version...I have learned to not make any important decisions during those times and save any battles, if there must be ones, until a better moment... It's mostly chemicals playing tricks in our brains, and we just have to try and ignore them and live through them, knowing things will be great again, once they are done and dusted... Never should we judge our selves, or our life during such moments, as it it would not lightly be a fair assessment, but biased by our mood. Looking forward to stepping into our bubble, once ready to log out from the squirrel wheel... Where is your place at, btw? is it far up north, or not far from Khao Yai, to where you made a little trip, once?

It is interesting to see the contrast between our Expat farm life in Thailand. 15 year's in NE Thailand has influenced many of my perspectives. I no longer have any interest in city or urban life. Western Civilization is abhorrent to me in it's political machinations, it's corruption, greed and warmongering. That said I've experienced hard learned lessons living full time among the Esan Culture. We sold our village house with great relief. Some aspects of Esan Culture are insufferable for a Western Expat. Overall though there is no other lifestyle or location that can positivley replace my current situation. Most Western Expats don't endure well here if they even last more than a few years because of their cultural biases and expectations. As Expats we can adapt but we will never be one of the Natives and they certainly aren't going to change for our desires. Great job with what you've accomplished. Personally my privacy is too important for me to participate in these YT videos, but good on you if it enhances your life experience here. 🙏
