Have you seen Shawn Rameys WR pass from WCF in 2017??? If you haven’t, you need to. His only major sponsor label, 4P, supplied the race head, the rest was basically all him. After every hit, he was wrenching, draining & refreshing fluids, replacing seals, etc etc...Ramey himself. And he would answer questions from the huddled fancrowd around his tent while he got up & down for tools and parts. Now that’s a true Pro. Danny & his crew deserve to be at WCF, and I honestly expect to see them there!!

@@Rob_Nasty this is what you'll need from the cr-v if going b series. It's a little different for other motors.. Transmission with transfer case Transmission mounts Shifter assembly and cables Front axles Driveline (shortened or a custom driveline built) Rear diff Rear diff mounts (or make your own rear diff mounts) Rear axles (2 right side rear axles) Rear trailing arms with bearings and hubs The issue with Honda's awd system is with the rear drive engagement mechanism. The CRV only engages the rear wheels when the front wheels and rear wheels are turning at different speeds. There is an assembly in the rear of the tranny that locks in the rear end with a pin only when this condition exists. Permantly weld that pin in, full-time awd. So you definitely need to do a little fabrication work, in fact quite a bit not everything bolts into the egs, if you did this with an EK I would be a HELL of a lot easier. It's so easy to do the awd swaps on the EKs. Too bad they're heavy.

Back in 2005 I had a awd civic using the crib set up and fabrication. It's alot easier now due to actually being able to buy kits and people being more knowledgeable about it. Back then it was trail and error with alot of broken parts

Honda even build the eg chassis with awd. At least the sedan there was a awd version you could buy in europe and japan. Not sure about america.

Andrew Marasek no not this car but you can get 600whp Honda for around 5k if you do everything yourself! Around 10-12k if you have someone else do it,and 5k to convert to awd including labor,and you have an easy mid to low 9sec car that I personally think still look good

The eh2 is the perfect chassis.. super light weight, and very aerodynamic. Only thing sketchy is the wheelbase being so short, at 180mph the drivers ass is kissing the seat pretty hard. That's the reason funny cars go so fast, horsepower and light weight and long wheelbase
