It breaks my little hobbit heart to go on so many great old maps like Jungle and Ash River only to see they have either blocked off all the good positions or even worse put a PUBG death zone around everything but a tiny corridor, completely ruins any kind of tactical gameplay 😭😭

it does really feel like they made almost all GRB maps to encourage as much spawn camping as possible , majority of them just spawn you in a giant open field with no cover , meanwhile surrounding the outer area of the spawn with tons of cover so the enemy can easily stay protected as they camp your entire team lol

Nothing better than to go to sleep watching a dollar plays video right before going to bed, amazing.

Sadly playing this thing is borderline impossible as the latest sales made entire 8.0 bracket filled with VIDAR's and Turm 3's which are so overpowered it's a joke, and speaking of the VIDAR: the PLZ is 0.7 below the swedish SPG but the latter has laser rangefinder, gen2 thermals, 5s autoloader and much better mobility

Some of that penetration was just not possible , that was a ridiculous angle to me . This Soviet shells act like an APFSDS penetrator , they don't care about angle . The roof of the Tiger 2 has 40mm , but at a very flat angle . This would bounce 100% , like this Strv TD . This has not much font armour , but very flat .

yeah this thing should 100% be premium ,the only Chinese tank at 7.3 ,and it gets into 8.0 every battle because of all Vidars ,also for some Volumetric reason it doesn't like to pen many things that it should, like AMX 30 front plate ,I think I had bounced with this tank more than any other tank I played and I only did 8 battles with it

I’m so glad I quit war thunder. The really fun tank combat is overshadowed by the same boring game modes, terrible maps, no ground only mode and repair costs in general (punishment for dying is stupid design) There’s just so many problems that ruin what could be a fun game

Why does the WT community just accept that you constantly get destroyed by planes in ground battles? When they made the game more grindy everybody was upset and they got review bombed. I think that should happen again with CAS.
