Excellent Barry agree with other comments the strike point is a great help. i still use too much power as i feel i need it to effect the cue ball direction your smooth controlled shots show me that too much power is just not needed.

This exercise is too advanced for me but great to see in the graphics where you hit the cue ball 👍 I would like to learn on which angles on the black or pink you do what to get position on a red between the black and pink.

Hi Barry I am one of your student. I am facing yesterday a different scenario of foul. My opponent pots a red ball but in reply touching any colour ball he touches red ball first and then pot blue ball in same shot but he denies a 5 points foul. According to him the foul counted 4 points. In my opinion the foul is of 5 points. Please clear this scenario. Thanks

Nice video if a player is 8 points ahead and only black ball remains on table other player wants to continue player with 8 points miss cues or pots cue ball and other player pots black ball is this allowed?

Barry, I'm a big snooker fan , watch all the top events on TV, just started playing snooker again after many years needless to say I'm hopeless at potting balls at the age of 71 do you think I'm too old to learn? I've been following your vids and find them very helpful. The guy I'm playing with is a bit younger at 66 but slightly better than me but we both enjoy playing.

I see you've recently added the deliberately slow initial inch on the final forward swing, much like Kyren does. Did you do that on purpose? And if so, what do you feel it helps you with?

Thanks Barry, I've been struggling with the T for a little while now. Don't know what it is. Been just playing it using pinks so I think I'm going to mix it up with using the black, maybe the blue also.

I think the T is trickier than the line up as you dont have reds down towards the blue as a fall back if you lose position.

i have a question about the cue is that since I'm comfortable playing pool with the pool cue, can I use a pool cue to play in a snooker game ?

Hi Sir Barry, i loved all your videos, may i know how i can pot a ball with great amount of top spin? Is it the same way when im doing a screwback? My problem is that i have no problem playing screwback that requires lots of cue power but when it comes to top spin, i cant generate that much of power. Are the 3 aspects full back swing, relax and follow through apply on top spin shot as well? Thank you :)

Pink at 13:00 - the way the cue ball goes it seems to have left side on it. Those strike points look a bit fishy, but a great addition nonetheless.

hi,,Barry, the video is pretty helpful to set up my own practice routine, my question is when during the T practice, if you miss a shoot, what do you always do?? just re-place the cueball and object ball and do that shot again?? or throw the object ball into the pocket and keep going to do the practice where the cueball are, and make the next shooting?? I always miss the shots when I just start to practice like this, looking forward for your response, thanks

This is not as easy as he makes it look.Very disciplined play. Very nice shot on pink to get perfect position on that last red. Wish I played a little more "boring" when I was a youngster instead of playing side on half my shots and missing easy pots because of it.

In this practice barry I think you are holding the cue from the end almost in every shot you played, doesn't it break you connection with the bridge hand which you taught in your 1st video with student celeina

notice you hit centre ball a lot ...i cue all over the white and use fraction left and right of centre cue ball for helping side as i find it hard to hit center consistantly...also enjoy being flamboyant (showing off on the odd shot or two) Q Am I doing it wrong - I dont play on match table fast cloths and steel block tables hardly ever i feel i need to ping it around more and the ball does not throw as much as it does on the finer cloths so you can get away with it and the titanium ferrle I have does not throw so i find I can use more side now and hit where I aim

hi barry found out my problem after a very long time i had backdisk for 10 years now, 5 years ago i had the surgery. in the meantime i started snooker too. until now i have seen many good coaches until today. recently most the coaches told me that they cant see any problem as i kept visiting them that theres is something wrong. recently found out that the backdisk had cause me to turn my heap to the left and all my body weight were towards left leg, therefor the cue butt was towards my body when i put 2 chalks to check the alignment. and thats why the tip was towards right side of cue ball and thats y i was putting unintentional right hand side. although when the coaches checked my alignment, they said its fine bcaz the butt was sometimes towards my body (im right handed player) and only one coach told me i had alignment problem but later even him said you have fixed it. now that i have found out that its the alignment problem how do i fix this? i did try to put my right leg straight, and right heap turned towards right body and this fixes the alignment problem, but since i have bad back disk it hurt alot. any suggestion? thank you

Hey coach , How u holdin up? There is an issue that bothers me everytime I get myself into a competition You see , In my practice day I have 50-70 breaks several times But when I find myself in an audience playing against someone even not stronger than me , I even miss easy shots sometimes For the record , I have developed my own technique and pre-shot routine and It has worked for me so far It is like I have 2 pauses which are at the cue ball and at the end of my back swing before going through the cue ball Any tips for me?:)

I would love to see someone actually missing a shot once or twice in such routine. What is the sequence then? Replace the balls where they were (to the best of memory) and repeat until made? Or replace the missed ball but leave the cue ball where it ended? Also, what happens if one canons a ball while potting another? Thanks for great videos!

On 6.39 you get rest to play shot.. You can also play a soft screw to draw cue ball to have hand shot which easiest n prefferable. Thanks
