Can you build a separate bath house , with all the amenities of a real spa ? I would place shower out side of sauna , or sauna will have to many soap smells . Build wood sauna house and put a wood stove in it . Place shower out of the sauna room , it is the best .

I watched your video this evening and thought to myself that for hundreds of years possibly a thousand years people have been moving cows and goats up the mountain in spring and down again in autumn. Felt serene watching it. Thank you
I randomly came across videos of the Swiss Germans moving their lovely fawn coloured cows down the mountains for the winter. They clean the cows' tails and then they decorate their cows with flowers around their horns and add an embroidered strap to their cow bells.
It's always an idyllic scene, and those bells sound wonderfully romantic from a distance, but in order for me to enjoy it I have to avoid thinking of the animals' welfare. The constant clanging, so close to the ears, is a real source of discomfort, even pain, and can result in permanent hearing damage. The older the animals get, the less distressing it becomes for them, only because their hearing deteriorates so much. Hundreds of years, of animal torture.
Hi Martijn, Here are some answers to your questions about saunas: Saunas are typically made of wood inside because wood has several properties that make it ideal for this purpose: 1. Low thermal conductivity: Wood doesn’t get too hot to touch, making it comfortable to sit on even at high temperatures. 2. Moisture regulation: Wood can absorb and release moisture, helping to maintain a stable and pleasant climate inside the sauna1. 3. Aesthetic and atmosphere: Wood creates a warm, natural, and relaxing environment. Why can’t you build stone benches in a sauna? Stone benches are not commonly used in saunas because of: 1. Their high thermal conductivity: Stone retains and conducts heat much more than wood, making it uncomfortable and potentially dangerous to sit on. 2. Furthermore, stone is much heavier and more difficult to install compared to wood. 3. The stone or its joints could develop cracks and chips or burst. So basically: Everything inside a sauna that you’d like to touch needs to be made out of wood or another material with low thermal conductivity. Remember, in a steam room (although it's way cooler than a sauna) you always have to spray the tiles with water first because you'd otherwise burn yourself sitting on the benches. For a 4m² sauna, you would typically need a wood stove with a heating power of around 4-6 kW. The exact requirement can vary based on factors like insulation and the height of the sauna which I can’t tell because I don’t know what exactly you have in mind. @@gorgonzola8084 You're absolutely right! Certain types of wood, like cedar and spruce, are not just resistant to decay and can withstand the high temperatures and humidity of a saunas, they also smell beautifully and compliment a nice sauna infusion with eucalyptus or mountain pine.

I love the light filter change at 35 minutes when the ignition is turned- I imagined it as a metaphor for your happiness when the engine speaks up to say, ‘let’s play!’ I spent my childhood bouncing about in a bright blue landie that my dad converted with a table in the back for my bro and I to play cards on. Older farmers say they can tell where each cow, sheep and goat are by the sound of their individual bell. Martijn, I have an infrared sauna and it works perfectly. All you need is an electric socket and turn it on. You don't have to worry about wood or ventilation. You could always fancy it up to your liking. Sending happy thoughts to everyone.

The bells are for a reason. There are different sizes that denotes which cow gives the most milk/ quality. I love the sound. I even recorded it when I lived in Fopollo, north of Bergamo in the lower ALPS of Italy. 🙏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
