Fishing in Alaska has got to be one of the best experiences ever. Travelling all the way from Hawaii with zero regrets I would do it all over in a heart beat. Alaska really is the adventure you think it is. We caught black cod aka butterfish in 2,000 feet of water and also caught Dungeness crabs in 30 feet of water. Giant Halibut in 300 feet of water! Definitely a bucket list trip!
