all these videos i have watched of you fixing these ps5 has told me one thing is that i will never buy a ps5 console iv had my ps4 for about 3 years and it still runs great if my ps4 died tomorrow i would soon go out and spend money on another ps4
Keep in mind that Sony has sold over 50 million PS5 consoles and I only deal with broken ones so it may just seem like they fail a lot. But they do fail a lot!

Amazing! But what kinda tools did you use too debug test the PS5 in the very beginning? Haven't seen that before. This would be making my job much easier too figure out what's the issue is when it's not turning on.
Good morning. Another excellent video. Do you have any example videos where you have a problem with the XDPE14286? I received a PS5 that shuts down completely after about an hour of use, and according to the error code, someone who had a similar problem recommends trying to replace the XDPE14286.
Great job, but I have a question. How did you know which specific ram to work on?, Did you do a voltage injection or did you check with a oscilloscope or you got that Info via the uart
The BwE PS5 Code Reader tells you the number of which RAM IC has failed and the software includes a chart showing the physical location of each number.
I use this. It works pretty well but flux gets into the mechanism and makes it stiff to move. I have to disassemble and clean occasionally. www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804567991916.html
Great work. And i have question my ps5 have a 3 beep no power problem everyone said it’s bios chips I watched one of you video u said something even the repair guy said that but 2 days later he check it and said bios was ok is there other problems have same issues 3 beep no power ?
If you are getting 3 beeps as soon as you plug in the console, that is normally corrupt bios. It means that the South Bridge is unable to load its software. I would say it's either bios of South Bridge.
Excellent repair as always. I have one concern though. The SK hynix memory with the X00n code are destined to fail as can be seen from northwestrepair GPU repair channel as well. He has mentioned that plenty of RTX 3060Ti s have this IC and they always fail. In that case, would it be likely for the issue to return back, potentially affected by another memory chip?
@@ToltecMerc I see. If in case this issue comes back, would it be possible to replace all the memory chips with a different brand IC possibly from Samsung or Micron? And if so, does it require modification of the straps in a PS5 like in case of graphics cards?
@@ToltecMerc Excellent. I have a PS5 digital as well purchased on May 2023 with the model no. CFI-1208B and am yet to take it apart, so not sure what ICs it is using. If it ever goes faulty, I am sending it to you. I am from India so don't know how to send it to you at the moment but will figure that out if and when the time comes. :D
Another interesting video :) happen to know the brand of that silicone mat you place the hot ram module on after removal? I recently removed a ps4 apu and like an idiot i placed it on the side of my preheater (which is metal and not hot) which made a small crack sound as i set it down, later on I noticed it popcorned between the die and metal heat spreader on the apu
I Have 1sec Blue Light PS5 I checked all the components around the HDMI IC are shorted. After removing the oc, all the shorts disappeared Can I test the console without this ic or do I have to replace it because hdmi ics are a bit expensive? thnqu 🥺❤️
