@@daniel..cooper I've always loved the blue willow ceramics, now we can duplicate them to a certain extent with the polyester resin. I'll have to go back and check the color of tint you used, it was perfect.
You've had the best results that I've seen yet. But I still can't justify buying a gallon of it. If it was in smaller quantities and a whole lot cheaper, I would then think on it.
Absolutely love these, especially the blue one. I remember when I was little my😮 grandma had a couple of those plates hanging on the wall. Thank you for all the videos, Daniel. I really appreciate what you do.😊
It's cooler than watching paint. I love the little dish. Ooooo blue is my color and WOW that is Beautiful... smiling yes it does, yes it does. Thanks for these two videos showing off the latest new toys (*u* ).
Daniel, I just love how you are willing to try anything and share the results with us! You are just amazing and SO talented! Everything looks great! 👍❤️
So funny thing, I have that same leveling table 😂😂😂. I’m glad you did this this is the perfect marble effect you do such amazing work. It reminds me of a dish my grandmother used to have
Book marks never worked for me as they curl up a bit. Obviously something I’ve been doing wrong. But this stuff is amazing! I would buy it for those alone! 👍☺️ I admire you keeping so cool while forming the trinket dish! I had beads of sweat on my forehead for you! I’ m not that cool under pressure!😅 thanks Daniel. They look amazing! ❤
Those are very nice looking, Daniel. With the fast curing time, what an easy way to make a cute little trinket dish. I think I'll have to try that resin.
Yes that blue would remind you a bit of the old Willow Tree print that every parent and grandparent had. Lol 😂 They really are stunning pieces Daniel. Thank you so much for kindly sharing. ❌☘️🥰
I am sooo tempted to get this resin, Daniel. I swear, it looks rather like porcelain! I had no idea this stuff would remain bendy long enough to form it. That's awesome! This looks *so much* like real marble or porcelain...can't get over it! Ha! Dan!!! It does NOT look like a dodgy old ashtray! 😅 A wee bit deeper, and it would be a cute dessert dish! You know, I *really* like how the alcohol inks seems to behave a bit differently in this polyurethane resin, from how it works in epoxy resin. I LOVE how it gives a true marbled look to anything made the way you did it. Just beautiful! LOVE the blue tray, but...love the copper one best (cuz I love copper!). That bookmark is gorgeous, and so is the "porcelain" heart. 💕 😊💕
Wow, the metallics work really well in that resin! It really makes brilliant marbling! have had some for a while and haven’t used it cos I wasn’t sure how to use it as it wasn’t clear. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video Daniel. Yes the plates from Holland. These turned out stunning. Yes you are a genius. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤ I hope they sell this resin by the gallon jugs. Take care and keep creating and smiling ❤
Thanks Dale, I have to thank let's resin for the dush idea 💡 Yes, hopefully they will sell smaller amounts soon. I'm definitely asking as have had this feedback a lot 😊
Oh my goodness I love absolutely Loved these the blue one is stunning and the copper one is to die for as well and I've seen the other videos the colorful hearts and everything man I just love all of it and I have only rarely seen people use this polyurethane resin I think Steve McDonald is one that I've seen but other than that I don't think I've seen it much so I'm glad that you have done this to show us there's other products out there I am actually interested in buying this and trying it for myself! You never cease to amaze me in the projects you make and you always have such an informative videos as well thank you again for another great video and project ❤😊
You can use this for cold casting too Daniel, try dusting your mold with aluminium or copper powder then also add some to the resin, allow it to cure, then buff up with ultra fine wire wool where you want it to shine.
Love both of these little dishes - great colour combos. I’m just too nervous to try this stuff. I think I’d have a heart attack trying to get it all done before it set so I’ll stick to the epoxy & UV 😂 I can see the massive advantage in using it though (for those with nerves of steel 💪🏻)Thanks for another great video
Ever thought of putting the two halves together to make 1. Maybe thats why the mold brings 2 of the same? maybe youve done it in the past. Im just thinking out loud. Love your channel.
You can also set the piece into a deeper pot, maybe 2-3 inches to create a deeper pot. It would be easier to shape your sides that way. This is how I do it with regular resin. 😂❤
have you tried draping that flat piece over a small bowl letting gravity pull the edges to hang down, that would be easier to arrange edges. I've got to try this stuff!!!
Have you tried charcoal powder ? I haven’t yet but plan to. The dishes are flipping brilliant, I love the blue one it’s just so nostalgic to me. Pure genius yet again Sir ❤❤
ohhhh Daniel these are gorgeous and I am laughing because I have made the exact same haaaaaa almost same colours too lol mine are pink and Blue xx so so cool :) definitely hard to mould .. but worth it xx
Your art is making me really see and love what the white PU can produce. Thank you so much! Will the book marks get harder over time to the point that they won't bend?
Now this!!! is what I wanted to see! Thank you Daniel. Love it! We all need to figure out how to get it glittered. It doesn't show up on the inside, the white hides it. How do we get it to show up on the outside, put the glitter on the mold and then pour? I just got my PU resin today, going to experiment. Thank you so much for this video, though, I'm not a jewelry maker, wanted to make other things, like these! Wonder if a small bowl or trinket mold would work?
I was thinking the metallic colors would show almost better than the alcohol ink does. These are gorgeous and I’ve a ton of metallic ink here. ❤ your results. What I’m curious about though is the Let’s Resin Soft UV. Have you used that yet?
Well now I know what happens if I leave a few seconds early! I liked the copper and white trinket tray but I love the one with azure blue. I'm getting my stuff together to start making jewelry to sell and I ordered the 26 color Let's Resin set from a supplier here in Mexico. I was shocked when I received the 48 color set so I messaged them telling them that that I must have been sent this by mistake and wouldn't have the difference to pay them until the following month, I try hard to always listen to my conscience. They said, hey no problem it wasn't a mistake they'd just ran out of the 26 so to fill my order they sent me the next size up at no additional charge. Needless to say I will be doing more business with them in the future. Not that I hope they do the same again, but any business that had that kind of appreciation for their customers is worth staying with. Caballeros 3D is the company.
Love this marble look! I just bought aome Poly Resin and can't wait to try it. Should/can you use the pressure pot? I'm ordering one tomorrow and wondering if this poly resin dries to quick for it.
Hey Daniel. I love your channel! The things you create are quite amazing!! I hope it's OK to ask, but I'm new to resin, and I'm struggling to find solid answers anywhere. If I want my items to be heatproof...coasters for example; do I need to use specific resin? Or can I use some kind of top coat? If so, what would be best to use? Thank you in advance for your help 🙏🙂
Question: can we topcoat with regular resin? Will it adhere strongly? Can I put some paint on the mold (similar to how you put mica powder down) to color certain areas? Thank you! I just ordered some of this resin, can’t wait to play with it :)
