Search and Seizure, Self Incrimination, Due Process....Deprivation of Life and Liberty all important topics. Since the short presentation wasn't meant to cover all topics, it's important to note Police Explorers are exposed to city, state and federal criminal process and rights / protections everyone has. Constitutional law is apart of that. Being teens, they are not training to be police officers, or other custodial staff positions. They are being given broad skills sets to decide what they want to do. Law Enforcement may not be for them. I know of several who became Fire Fighters, Funeral Services, Medical RN/ EMS, and Military....
