I wanted to be able to put a 4 wheeler or lawn mower on my vehicle lift, so I made these adaptors. They are different than anything else that I saw on RU-vid. They didn't turn out as good as I would have liked, but they work great.

All you have to do is get four Reese receiver weld them onto each bracket and slide a piece of tubing into the Reese receiver on both front and rear and it won't have the deflection cause the tube across won't allow it and it can be any width you want! Just my obsivasion

I like the slide in and out idea, but the deflection is in the lift arms. It works great, just looks a little scetch.

No new air box, haven’t you heard of 100 MPH Tape, just Duck Tape it. 😂😂👍👍

You only need the air box sealed up if you are going into deep water. We will probably just avoid that.

What about, using what you have created, weld a double tube (one tube inside the other) across the two back wheels at level and that would be adjustable to slide for with. Repeat the process across the front two wheels. What ya think? [Telescoping]

I thought about that, but they work just like they are. Just look weird is all.

looks good but i wonder how it will hold up when you start wrenching on stuff.

My zero turn and the 4 wheeler is the heaviest things we put on it. They weigh about 600 lbs. That's 150 lbs per wheel. I use it quite often and it holds up fine.

lifting anything heavy you need a soild structure. the sag that you have is atleast an inch or 2. which will hear out the welds from that 1-2 inch play. also all of the wieght is focused all on the bolt that goes through the arm. very scary. I dont see that lasting and would be scared to be under it. All you had to ddo was use the original design and have 2 tracks that allow you to drive the mower over to the next bridge. then unbolt thoes tracks when lifted for blade access

I appreciate your concern. You do realize that my lawn mowers weight 600 lbs or less. That is about 150 lbs per corner. That is a 1 inch bolt in each corner. Have you ever seen a 1 inch bolt break under 150 lbs of pressure? And as far as the welds hearing out? I think it will be ok, whatever that is. The lift is rated at 12,000 lbs. That’s 3000 lbs per corner. Thanks for watching and commenting.
