Did you read the description, the boat does 52 knots at WOT and cruisers best at 40...this engine burns 142 L/h at WOT so I'd say this boat would cruise 30 knots at around 3500 rpm where this engine burns around 45L/h so that's around 180 liters all 4 engines per hour at 3500 rpm not 480 liters you're claiming.

I think planing with 1 600hp engine if the other goes is why they wouldn't go with 2 600hp.
