Bad ass hands down good work I got a YJ my self I recently picked up and this looks pretty cool I wish I just had the time lol great work tho keep it up 🙌👌👍
Lots of nice work! That truss looks awesome, but I would tie it into the rear cover bolts / pinion gear bolts, just cause I've seen them break on rigs set up like yours. I'm gonna go watch more of your videos now!
@@Dicks4x4Garage it should be pretty stout , but like you said, it would be better to tie it into something for sure! Eventually I want to get one of those beefy pinion guard, I'd thought about trying to tie one of those into the truss, so it all unbolts. But that will be much later when I get around to doing that. Trying to get it back on the trail for now! Hope it holds up!! Yikes!
Marcelo Moore I’m not sure what the deal was, I think maybe it is the difference in the old style 14 bolt compared to the newer ribbed one. That’s my guess anyway. Assume the cover is designed for the newer ribbed housing.
Whats going on where it looks like you shaved right through the bottom of the diff , lmao am i seeing things , wicked build man not to sound cheesy but its inspireing af
there was the 14th bolt hole at the bottom. after i shaved the bottom off, there is a tiny bit of the bolt hole left there. what you see is the threads of the bolt hole. im pretty sure thats what youre talking about anyway lol! i have seen some guys weld it up and grind it down, but i didnt bother with it, doesnt bother me at all, and it doesnt go all the way into the diff. thanks for watching brother
Honestly I think the cover was designed for the newer version of the 14 bolts and I had the older axle housing. The cover is great quality otherwise. It wasn’t that big of a deal really. Had no other problems since.
@@mrslam49 ahhh ok cool thank you. was kinda curious because im just diving into this axle stuff and was wondering if they were liberal in their tolerances. thanks again!
