The cape wrath trail is considered to be one of the most challenging long distant hikes in the UK. It's a 230 mile hike through the highlands of Scotland starting at Fort William and ending at the Cape Wrath lighthouse which is the most North Westerly point of the UK. The terrain can be very difficult and navigation skills are a must as parts of the hike have no visible paths. Part four will be out soon, if you'd like to be notified when it is then make sure you subscribe and hit the bell notification below.
Thanks for watching

Much respect after doing that Barnsdale - Kinloch Hourn path after the earlier walk!!!!. (have done it back and forth at least three times with mates on route to Inverie over the years and the most remotest pub on mainland Britain, The Old Forge). That stage of the walk is not for the faint hearted! If you ever get a chance - drive up to that carpark and do that walk to Inverie. They have a cracking bunk house in Inverie or a beach camping spot outside the village. We usually stay at the bothy or camp outside then do the next part over to Inverie the next day. You could do it in one day easily. We do it over two days as have more weight (beer, coal) and like a bit of a party half way. Loving your videos and jesus! you've had the weather!!!

This challenge calls out to me, I've been binging your channel for the past few evenings and I must say you've really helped to give me motivation as have been in a mental hole. I did the horseshoe trail at Pen Y Fan today in the pissing rain and gale force winds, it was the most alive I've felt in a while. Thank you sir, top lad!

It's amazing isn't it to come across water so clean you can just drink it straight. When in Fort William doing Ben Nevis sort of got to the the quarter of the way mark known as the Red Burns which is similar to where you are collecting water (13:17) an area of water going over and through a rockery area and it was just pure clean and fresh and ready to drink, was amazing. And there is something very humble and gratifying about being able to just drink straight off of the land, drinking perfection! :D This 14 day trek looks amazing, may have to nab your route and have a crack myself :)

Oh crap, did Knoydart back in 2018, walked that path from Kinloch Hourn to Barrisdale, stayed at the bothy there before heading in to Inverie, from there it was to Sourlies bothy, finally back up the mountains to work eastward to the road that leads back to Kinloch Hourn, almost walked into a massive stag in the middle of the night that was standing outside that very gate by Kinloch Hourn :)
