I do not understand anything in English I try to hear only .. Pronunciation you have excellent. I liked the channel....I used an interpreter to write this message☺☺
Thank you, Kayla. It was a selection of quite unusual idioms, I would say. I am not sure they are totally understandable even for every English-language person. Stay healthy and keep create your videos.
It’s the first time I watched Kayla’s video, I found it easy to understand, interesting, and very useful. I will keep watching hers from time to time. Thanks Kayla.
I am literally watching your brides with the smile 😊 you are so good at teaching and sounds perfect 🤩 😍 Cheers from Russian living in Dubai and planning visit USA 🇺🇸
You got a new subscriber I love this kind of videos because they're easier for me to digest. If you keep doing like these high quality videos (real English) your channel will be one of the best out there for sure (ex: lingua marina make a lot of mistakes because she's not fluent in english and she got a tons of views) why I'm saying this is because I can't see many subscribers and views in this channel. For me personally I like to learn from native English speakers because I'm not only learning English but the culture, keep going work hard and stay positive and after that all of the hard work will pay off. This mindset can be applied to all of us Finally thanks for this amazing video and I wish you all the best in your journey
Thanks Joe, I have TONS of respect for Marina, and all teachers of English on RU-vid (even native speakers make mistakes in the language). I think learners of a language can teach things in a way that their peers can understand better. but I also understand what you mean about the cultural aspect. At the end of the day, I think there's a teacher out there for everyone's style! more high-quality lessons will be on the channel soon, thanks for subscribing!
@@Englishwithkayla yes I totally agree with you, we all make mistakes but it's personal mistakes that won't affect anyone. I personally make a lot of mistakes in my mother tong, but a coach or a teacher should provide value to students not mistakes!!. No offense, but at least she should make some research before teaching their student.
Hi Kayla, thank you for posting these videos, I wish I had found your channel earlier, I learned real English(people used in real life) in your lessons, a lot of these content comes in handy in real life. On top of that, you're very good at explaining things(such as idioms, phrasal verbs, and sentences often used in day-to-day life), I found that I can remember these content more easily after you explained them. Thank you so much, you're the best.
Brilliant, simple and charming .. there is magic in your videos 🤔 I think you’re talented in so many ways , may be you rightful place is in Hollywood .. 🌹
Hey Kayla! I'd like to thank you for another fabulous and handy lesson l love to use idioms when l speak because people will think l'm advanced 😂. I can truly say that nothing holds a candle to your channel it's the bee's knees and it has been a game changer for my English . 💖💕 l'd like to ask about something there's an idiom that l have learned today and it was "To rest on your laurels" Do Americans use that?
You are welcome Aya, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy adding idioms to your vocabulary. I've definitely heard the phrase but I've never heard it in conversation. You might see it written, but I would consider it a bit more old-fashioned.
Hello professor Thank you so much for your priceless advice and interesting guidance. I really appreciate your job. I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity. Your follower from Algeria.
I loved this video! In my country (my city) we say something similar to "cut someone off". It's like.." Te tengo que cortar porque voy saliendo" It would be like " I gotta cut u off because I have to leave" 😁 Thanks for the video!
I saw a thumbnail, I saw a beautiful girl and she taught English. I said to myself: This is exactly what I'm looking for. This channel has got to be amazing and I need to subscribe. This is what I did:)

I really enjoyed the lesson, well explained however I don't understand why there is a music in the background. I personally find it distracting. Thank you so much for your lesson.
Ready to roll (ready to go) Hold your horses( wait) Did i stutter (did i make that you can't understand) Holy moly ( for surprise/ shock) A tad more( a litte more ) ducks in a row( to be prepared) Put your money where your mouth is( to bet) Along the lines of ( somewhat like ) Square up ( to finalize things) Square up ( to get ready to fight) Picture perfect ( really beautiful) without a scratch ( not hurt) To have nine lives ( dont get hurt / invincible) Don't hold your breath( dont weight for something to happen because its incredibly unlikely) Cut someone off (cutting conversation) Cut someone off( when a car comes in front of you ) Thanks alot ,👍🤩
I am mexican born and raised. And I bet dollars to donuts that the expression: "holy moly" originated because the producers of batman who lived in California (place that has very, very strong influence of Spanish and mexican food. "Mole" is very traditional mexican food) loved mexican food. The producers of batman liked a lot to eat "mole". Therefore they coined the phrase!!!!!!!!!.
I came across this channel just yesterday (new subscriber) and I found your content super helpful 👍 I love shorter, but to the point kinda videos... have you uploaded a video about prepositions? for some reason I find them sooo confusing 🤔 for example, on/in/at, to/for, from/of 😨 I'm sure how or when to use some but there are times when I simply don't know which one's correct 🤦🏻♀️ am I the only one? 💁♀️😆
No, you are not the only one! these are incredibly confusing, I have made lessons on some of these in the past but a lesson that outlines my best tips for using prepositions may be good. Thanks for the suggestion
