Perfect timing! Doing a summoner run atm, and nearly at the moonlord, so I get to experience lots the way the update wants. Shame about the belladonna, that weapon was amazing in the older form.

Every new Calamity update makes me hyped up... 3:10 me too Brome I surely want to see the new weapons; reworks; bosses; (secrets); AI's and OST's, in the next calamity update

this update is sick, i can't wait to try the Grand Staff of Nebula Mage after i defeat the DoG in master mode (that will be an absolute nightmare of a task, with my abysmal skill levels) Edit: I managed to defeat him using constellations from mod of redemption and omega core from thorium, yes I forgot to mention that I'm doing calamity, thorium, redemption playthrough (a.k.a. calthoridemption)

Ah yeah, they decided to delete Bloody Edge just when I literally made it, i uploaded a video in TikTok, my game crashed and when I opened the game again i didn't had the weapon anymore, had to farm AGAIN to get a Night Edge.

They also rewrote the entire lore. Yharim is more sympathetic now. There was a whole ass race of dragons who defended the world until the Moon Lord in full power came in. They sealed him away in the moon, but unfortunately, most of them died, and their king was mortally injured. A monk called Xeroc offered to help but betrayed them and took the power of their king, becoming the first god. The gods in Calamity are complete and utter assholes, with examples being the Elementals and Providence. Godseeker Yharim led a crusade against them, but when he recruited the DoG, everything went to crap. Draedon, Calamitas, and the Archmage (who in the new lore was formerly an ally of Yharim) all left him. Oh, and Yharon and Yharim are no longer related to the jungle now, Yharon can be summoned anywhere in the surface.

as much as I love the new Weapons design i really don't like how oversized their sprites are when compared with your character, especially guns and staffs.

Also bloody edge and the true variant and the terra edge got removed i think

I beat perforator hive and the messages said "the sky is glittering with cyan light" I couldn't find aerialite anywhere in the underground and aero slimes started spawning in the sky, whats up with that?

Classic Calam, adding the cart before the horse. They can add 20 different weapons each small update, but adding some new enemies to the biomes you explore for ore post-ML is too hard.

Kind of annoying, the mod is very buggy at the moment. A bunch of items don't say what they are when you hover over therefore making it hard to find out which items you need for recipes. hopefully a quick fix will be out soon
