I don’t have a big budget and struggle to buy quality but slowly I’m getting there. Every piece that comes in I have to make work with my wardrobe and more importantly my lifestyle. I have a great work wardrobe but I’m retired and none of it gets worn. I love your videos 🦋🤗

@@EricaBallStyle that’s an idea I guess in someway I’m attached to them and I keep trying to make them work with a more relaxed lifestyle but it still feels a bit made up. I then end up changing! I will consider what you have suggested perhaps Poshmark. Thanks so much for sending me your wisdom 🦋

@@deniseyounger6004 SIt with the idea and if/when you feel comfortable with it think about starting with 1 or 2 pieces. It's a self-care practice to let go of our past selves to make room for embracing who you are and who you want to be today 😊

@@EricaBallStyle I think I’m having an identity crisis as many women do at this stage. I’m a glam lady but have a relaxed lifestyle hard to marry the 2! I’m also involved in a lot of messy creative projects. Thanks Erica I’ll be watching this video and others again to help my situation 🦋🤗

Well, you've got my number! I am guilty of many reasons why I can't find something to wear. I'm trying to keep a list of basics that I need and I use the 1 in 1 out routine. Also I need to stick with my personal style. That I pretty much know. I stay away from trends unless they look like they will be around for a while. And I really love it. That's usually 1 thing. My shopping has changed to only one item that is better quality and material. Less is more! I have been a maximalist shopper for a long time, but I really think less is a better way to go even if it costs more. I just save for those purchases.

What pants / skirts will look flattering on different body types? I am hour glass/ pear shaped, it’s hard to find the right kinds jeans/pants to wear. I love Veronica beard dresses too, but I don’t feel comfortable to show too much legs.

@@annapetersen6868 Thanks for sharing Anna. I am working on a series of videos for different body types but it will probably be a while before they are done. Skirts can be challenging for a lot of women. If you are more of an hourglass/pear shape, think about wearing bottoms that have more structure to them or are made of a heavier-weighted fabric. It's also helpful to have them more on the fitted, slim, or tailored side. Avoid things like ruffles or extra fabric on the areas you want to minimize. A-line, circle skirts, or super flowy skirts will make a pear shape look bigger. Hope that helps!
