I went to Peru last month and it was amazing. Beautiful country, gentle, humble people and amazing food. It was unusually hot when I went due to climate change. Laundry service is cheap and fast. Wear comfortable shoes. So many steps to climb. No AC in any ot the hotels. We asked for a fan. A must see country. I didn’t get altitude sickness. Did get stomach virus a few days before leaving. Gargled with tap water. Don’t do it. So glad I went.

When you arrive Cuzco, locals give you te , he needs to drink tea the first day. And, then go to Machu Picchu. I suggest to hire a tourism company. I will be easy for him.

Hello from France nice your travel advice the only slight inconvenience is that each time you give a distance or an altitude I have to meter on pose to convert it into a metric system and if a temperature in Celsius, but it does not matter😀😀

I remember going from Trujillo to NY and I thought because the sun was out it was hot but it wasn’t I was freezing cold in NY. And we Peruvian don’t dry our hair right after shower so I went out to wait for the train and my hair got frozen, it was funny but I was young so nothing happened to me.

I was aware that they seasons were opposite ours in North America, however I was not aware that there was a difference between Machu Picchu and the town it’s in. Cannot recall the name. Hot is relative, to me 95+ is hot, so if Lima is in the 70s then I consider that good. But it sounds like I will need layers or something for cold nights when I visit. There are many tour companies. Is it easy to take public transportation? I dont speak spanish at all.

Yes, it is definitely possible to navigate transportation but may be a challenge speaking no Spanish. Many cities have English signage and announcements, and there are also helpful apps and maps available to guide you along the way. If you feel uncomfortable just book a tour as well

In some countries we actually learn geaography, so we don't have to buy clothes once we get to a high elevation semi-arid climate nor are we shocked as we descend into a semi-tropical medium elevation jungle.

Hi there I was just looking your video and it’s great 👍 I have a question As I was scrolling here for trip to Peru I came across of someone offer trips there for $1900 and that’s not airplane include, It’s a hiking on the Inca trail to Macchu Picchu… So if I added the airplane ticket will be like $3000 Is that a reasonable price for It?
