On this type of a bike the change is less than say a touring bike that has a catalyst in the headpipe. The Sportster flows pretty good off the stock headpipe. You would probably be able to pick up 2-3 HP/Torque with a full system over the slip-ons, but nothing that you'd feel in my opinion.

The 883 are the same as the 1200 for slip-ons. If you want black you can select it from the headings at the top of the website and go to sportster.

Yes, it is our opinion that you would need to do a tune even if it is just the HD screaming eagle tuner. This paired with an intake will cause a lean issue typically that can result in fouled plugs or worse if not corrected to the proper AFR.
